Good Morning LL

Checkers is eating well this morning. Licking his empty dish now, cuz Clancy finished his breffis.
Momma will refill,of course :smile:
Had his sink/tub drinks. He enjoyed his fountain, after I poured fresh cold water from fridge in it.
Yippee, ate more FF Chicken

Off to see what everyone is doing. Gosh, I missed everybody yesterday. I can't always sit long enough to respond to condos, but love reading daily updates.

Happy to see those nice blue numbers for Checkers after those scary ones the other day. Crazy! What's with these cats?? Why is it so easy to get a human being regulated but not a cat? I know Bob's issue is with food, but there are so many other kitties who eat wet food and still are all over the place. I guess it just fits with a cat's personality to be difficult. :lol:

I missed chatting with everyone yesterday too - I felt lost!!! I hope you and Checkers have a great day!

Hi Barb, nice report on Checkers. I was worried about you when the Board went down, as I know he was "HI". Glad he got his tub drink. Is he using the fountain. I was thinking of one for Mags. Have a great day and hope your back is better.

I missed the Board yesterday too, but boy did I get a lot of work done! :roll: :lol: :lol: Still catching up.

Oh heck, forgot Checks recent number already and too lazy to walk to kitchen to look. It was low yellow :roll:

I called around local pharmacies to price check Humulin R, and got around $100 from each.
WalMart is ......ta da.....$24.88!

Their price for the Levimer is the same as local, tho.....$288 for 5 pack. Sigh.

Barb has asked for some clarification on using R.

Barb: I do see that Checks often bounces for more than one cycle. When using R, you want to use it as soon as the bounce starts so the goal is to keep him from ever getting into black. I do see opportunities on his SS where you could have used it.

However, I've only been using it since Feb or so and I haven't had to use it in a while. Libby and Dyana have used it a much longer time and I think the more eyes on his SS, the better when it comes to giving you examples of when to shoot it. I've sent them messages, as well as to Jill, to get their thoughts.

Wishing you good luck if you decide to try R. I'm sure that you will get good advice from the experts.
Nice to see that Checks came down today and that he has learned to like his fountain (can you put ice cubes in it to keep the water cold?).

it's great that the board is back. But I must say that I got a lot done yesterday and even had some time to read in a novel!
