? 8/1 Bubbas AMPS 371 PMPS 285, +1 340-daily puking advice

Haha yeah I’m hoping he does!!!

he’s also been throwing up every day the last couple days (before the super low numbers a couple nights ago) I wonder if that could effect how fast he bounces back? I’m not sure why he’s puking every day but it’s making me worried

So bubbas has been puking every day for about a week now. It’s very dark in color, kind of the consistency and smell of poop, and it always has a hair ball in it. He’s been licking himself constantly for about a week now, I think his feline dermatitis, or what I think it is, is coming back and it’s pretty bad. He has scabs all over his body, now even on the top of his head, and he’s staring to get bald patches where the scabs are. My poor baby can’t catch a break it looks like :( I’ve been giving him a bath with this vet prescribed soothing oatmeal shampoo the last couple weeks and it seems to kind of be working, but I think all the licking and grooming might be the cause of the puking every day? That’s obviously not good that he’s puking daily, but the soonest I can get him into a vet is 8/17. Does anyone have advice on what could be happening? My heart is breaking for my boy, it’s like one thing after another with him. Diabetes, scabs all over his body, now daily puking. This is truly just so frustrating, I want him to be ok again.

Oh I'm so sorry to see this :-( I don't know... I know Jack gets nauseous sometimes, so I have cerenia (anti-nausea meds) on hand for him if he gets punky, but nothing like what you are describing. Have you called the vet for advice? I know they can't see you but maybe they can call a script or soemthing into the pharmacy for you. Also, you can put a ? in front of your title so the admins see it and may be able to offer better advice. I feel so bad for you guys....:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

I haven’t called the vet for advice , it’s hard for me to trust the vet , or any vet at this point lol and I already have an appt for him coming up soon, so I’m sure they will just make me wait. :banghead: No one from the forum has given me advice just yet, so I was kind of waiting to see if anyone on here had anything to say before I called the vet. But yeah this puking daily is getting concerning.
