He doesn't seem to be feeling great today, his eyes don't look right, and he's not moving around much. With his IBD sometimes he gets a little nausea here & there, but it usually seems to pass quickly. I'm not 100% sure that's what's even wrong, but with him that's usually my first suspicion. I gave him his Budesonide early this morning thinking that would perk him up, but it didn't seem to. BG was 255  which is pretty high for him - last 2 mornings have been 198 & 142. (I haven't updated my SS in a while  ).

Hoping it's not a sign of things to come & trying not to over-worry about it. nailbite_smile I gave him an extra 1/2 dose of Budesonide a little bit ago to see if that helps - if he still seems off tomorrow I guess it's a vet trip. I haven't seen him eat at all today, but then if his BG is running high that's par - he was eating fine last night at least. He doesn't look awful - I did catch him looking out the window earlier, so it can't be ALL bad, but he's definitely not himself.

Other than that, it is a beautiful day here, I think this is the nicest summer I've spent in Cali (inland) - nice & sunny & warm, but not super-hot, YAY!

Thanks Robin! :-D

+6 167 & starting to look perkier...

After his test he decided it was snack time, and is looking & acting much better now, whew. I'm thinking I may try raising his Budesonide dose for a few days and see if things go back to normal. He has needed a dose raise every year or so, so he may be due for the next one. Makes me a little nervous being a steroid & all, but if it keeps things under control, oh well.
