and is very bright and breezy.
The vet called about 30 minutes ago with the results of Saturday's tests.
Diabetes-wise, yes, all is good, looks like it's reversed hallelujah :mrgreen:
However, urinalysis suggests we now have kidney issues brewing because her protein is a bit high and the urine is quite dilute for such a young cat. I'm still changing litter far more often than I should be considering they both go outside as well as use trays, so I'm not really that surprised...followup is indicated and the priority is getting that last 500gm off her. Time to get the food charts out and find something med-protein, lowcarb and low calorie. OI VEH!
But, worst case scenario, I'm looking at having two kidney cats, which is actually not that much of a drama because theyn they'll BOTH be on the same food, which will make life a lot easier...but let's wait and see. No sense borrowing trouble just yet
