+7 Lantus sugar 209 at vets.

Brought Missy in for CBC and glucose check today timed for +7 post am Lantus insulin. I had noticed skin lac or irritation on her flank end of last week but as was bringing her in today was watching it and trimming coat down, also gave another poop bath, that's been our biggest issue :lol:

So sugar was good, she's on just 0.5 units Lantus q12 hours 9-9, had done 0.75 unit BID for a while per vet, but seemed like her sugar was low ish sometimes with that so I backed dose down. Just waiting on her CBC. They also trimmed her coat more, vet thinks allergy which she's had most of her life. Doing triple antibiotic ointment three times a day will talk to him tomorrow.

Today brought her in for a sugar check 2-3 hours post Lantus. Her Lantus was 9:20, and she ate after, brought her in for check 11:50 or so just prior to their closing for lunch and she was 224. I am very frustrated with spread sheet, updated the iPad one several times to cross it to google docs and everything keeps back dating to 6/13/12 :evil:

also trying to find the blood pressures as know I saved them too, *sigh*

He wants me to nudge the Lantus to 0.75 units at least once a day, actually wanted 0.75 BID but when we switched from 1 unit daily to 0.75 bid she seemed off, I got her eating, gave higher carb canned food and returned to half unit bid (every 12 of course. )
I know should monitor home sugars not quite ready for that but have picked up dry bowl as she wasn't eating the dry anyway. So she's eating just canned 1/2 can Friskies classic pate, or whole can fancy feast classics, twice a day, doing well.
Side abrasion still there but doesn't look as angry.

Dose thoughts? Will also post in general health board. Thank you all in advance.
