It was for a few reasons. Maverick tended to consistently lose duration, and we could never really get out of the bouncing. We might have a couple of good cycles, but it would never last. Very rarely would I get two cycles back to back where he got down into healthy range numbers, and when he did, it was short-lived. I could never really break him out of the bouncing, even with manipulating the curve with food. It seemed time to try a different insulin, in the hopes of getting flatter cycles, better duration, and hopefully less bouncing, and better regulated than he was with Lantus.Why did you switch insulins?
