Tucker is really happy, playing, eating like a pig though......pretty normal actually. I'm surprised his number isn't a little bit lower given how happy he is. I have a question about Whiskas larger cans. I emailed Whiskas Australia re. carb count and they sent me this:
"Our recipes with the lowest carb count would be: - WHISKAS Adult Loaf with Salmon - WHISKAS Adult Loaf with Tuna - WHISKAS Adult Loaf with Ocean Fish - WHISKAS Adult Loaf with Pilchards These recipes should have less than 5% Carbohydrate dry matter basis."
Given that we are silly people with 3 cats, buying Whiskas would be pretty awesome compared to 6.00 a day for Fancy Feast (which still seems to have sauce to me....but they swear the "Classic" is very low carb). I would love it if anyone who has info on Whiskas or an alternative cost-effective wet food. I'm also looking into Bron's recipes.
At the moment we are using BARF, which for Tucker alone is running about 14.00 a week, CORE which is 3.00 a medium sized can, which equates to about 6.00-7.00 per day if we feed all 3 cats low carb.
Ideas? Go!
