Yesterday Neko went off adventuring in Jaipur, the Pink City of India and unfortunately breaking a long streak of non pink cycles. At least long for her. :lol: But she recovered to a nice blue surf overnight, and perhaps a quick dip in the lagoon.

I thought I might have done a fur shot this morning. It all seemed good, although she decided to chose the moment I was about to press the plunger to lie down. There wasn't any moisture or smell, but a couple hours later when I was kissing her head, I noticed a faint Lantus smell. With Neko's odd ball cycles and working pancreas, it's really hard to tell what happened, but I think I got a good amount in because that +8 is down. A visit to Yellow Mountain City is better than Jaipur any day. :lol:

We hit 27+C/80F so it's plenty warm here. Cats are going out into the solarium, heating up, coming back and lying on the kitchen floor to cool down, then heading back out again. Poor long haired mostly black kitties just want to be out there but have to give in every once in a while. The sun is moving away from that side of the house so it'll be safe for lounging soon. Neko hasn't asked to go out yet, but the deck gets pretty hot on bare cat feet. She'll probably want out later when it's better moth hunting.

That yellow is not too high. I hope Neko comes back down to blue this evening. The heat is hard on long-haired, dark colored kitties. Although when I came home from work today I found Furball lying in the window sill in the hot sun. It is 90F here today. Crazy kitty.

As long as we're traveling, there's a story about St. Vincent in the Caribbean Sea. They had a bad year and no one cared to think about it. They decided they would just erase it from their history books. We could do that with Neko's adventure to Jaipur?

Sometimes Lucy oozes Lantus smell even when I'm sure I didn't fur-shot.
It's very strange!

Hot day today, but Lucy is doing surprising good.
I hope it'll get cool enough later and Neko will get to play with moths.

Sigh, either there was a partial fur shot or she went lowish last night and is bouncing. Oh well, early to sleep for me. I-)

@Carla - No luck on blue, maybe by morning. Furball is crazy hanging in the sun. The same with the two here - I get too hot in the sun without all that fur on. :shock:

@Mary - She turned around the wrong way again. Back to the Pink City. :roll: Maybe I could erase today's tests from the SS? :lol: Hard to remove the PS though.

@Mariko - Neko was out for a while later today and she was watching moths for a while. I think she plays more when she's lower though, she not as comfortable in pink anymore.
