So I had a scare this morning. Max started acting like he was going to bite me when I was trying to get his fur separated for his shot. Then the insulin was no longer in the syringe. So I refilled it and shot. After that my mind started to play tricks on me and I was afraid I might have shot twice. I know i didn't penetrate but I was afraid, what if I did? I should have treated it like a fur shot. If it ever happens again I will. Next time he acts like that I will just shoot in the scruff. Of course I'm checking him way too much on a day I could have left him alone. Plus I won't feel comfortable until I see what he does tonight. I know, I know. Lesson learned and hopefully he won't pay a price. That plus a possible p'itis attack is making me nuts. Okay, maybe I already am nuts.
Good new on the mom front. Her blood level is good again!! Max and my mom usually are in crisis together so hopefully he will do better as well. Fingers and paws are crossed.

he won't suffer for a few extra tests. looks to me like he's clearing a bounce - today is all straight down 374-356-317-248-167. wonder where he's going to be later this afternoon.
