Surf's up - well a yellow one - 257 @ AMPS, and Mannie's flatline yellow continues... question now is when will I become busy? Bad mama bean but I hope he holds off until later in the day. I have a swim meet to attend today. no - I am not swimming :lol: :lol: and that would be scary. My kids were all competitive swimmers, so I am off for a few hours to catch up with old friends, watch a few races , outdoor racing: the best. Unless of course Mannie decides that he needs some adventure this morning. I hope that he will choose the blue surf path - slow and steady, surf there for a while.

WCR: I never heard the alarm this morning :? but Mannie sure did :razz: and made sure I got up: love those whiskers and hot kitty breathe up close and personal at 4 AM. I couldn't test fast enough, or feed fast enough or shoot fast enough. :smile: It is still warm here, and Mannie sure does want out. We hit 92 yesterday, hot for us, and once back from my hike I had to water everything. Found Mannie last evening spread eagle in one of the pools of water. It was cool there. Silly boy, and no doubt more of the same today. Go Kitty!

Enjoy your get together with friends and the swim meet. It sound slike fun, and I hope Mannie does choose a blue surf. Happy Friday or TGIF! I need to do the same more often - get together with friends.

Michelle, I hope Mannie comes out of those yellows for you and shows you some pretty blues!

Yes, it is very very hot. Our heat wave is supposed to end today with some thunder showers and instead of being in the 90's we're supposed to go to around 83. Mannie knows how to keep cool, that's for sure. Hey, tell him that Spot has a pool and there's all kinds of floaties and noodles for it and he is more than welcome to come on over and join Spot. Unfortunately, since he's not at the falls yet, there is not cabana boy/girl to bring the fufu drinks or treats.

Enjoy your day with your friends, Michelle. Always nice to catch up!

We are up a little @ +2 -- a 281. still yellow - still surfin'.

Hi everybody! I finally opened the slider - Mannie was out in a bolt. Gotta get in the grass roll chomp and rub. And to find a cool spot to take a nap in.

Hey Spot - Mannie may show at your doorstep - he's in search of cool things, water seems to do the trick. He does love pools and floaties and noodles...

Hi Ann - it should be nice - it has been a while since I have seen "the swim people". We all get so busy that it is hard to set time aside for friends. Here's hoping I can find parking, that I remember the sunscreen, and that I don't come hot hot tired and fired beet red... :lol:

Hi Pat. so far- holding the line. now if he can do that for about 6 hours life today will be perfect. then he can have all the action he wants... well good action.

OK yellow isnt bad--He still could go down, but for now, go be with friends & kids & enjoy the day!!
We devote so much time to kitties, we deserve some ourselves!!!

We have a 169 @ +4 - will check before I leave around +6, and leave the needed food. I shouldn't be gone longer than 4 hours, and what can happen in 4 hours. :shock: :shock: famous last words....

That was a much nicer amps than yesterday! I'm trying to picture Mannie laying in a pool of water. I think maybe you enter him in the swimming events, not just the diving events. Have a good time at the pool!

Hi Ele! and thanks! I had watered everything yesterday - ended up with this 1" deep puddle on the patio - just big enough for him, and there he lay. :? :lol: :lol: He didn't want to move - it was cool in that water. haha: yes swimming events too!

Just a few minutes ago I could hear Mannie meowing over and over again in the kitchen in his test spot - wanted a test. so i obliged, and did one, even though it was a bit early for another. funny - it's as if he wanted to say - "see - holding the line - now go to your swim thing and i will be just fine - i am now blue surfing, and can hold this for the afternoon" - what a guy!

166 @ +4.5 - one more before I go, food left as needed....

Definitely had a good time - nice weather, saw a few old friends. All in all - glad I went.

Hey Stu - yeah I am at Spots, lounging in the pool - no cabana service though, cuz one has to be a resident there at the falls for that... But Spot is a blast, the pool is cool, and we have been doing mini surfs here. SO HURRY! There plenty of room on my floatie, and spot has lots of noodles... Hey what are some of the other guys up to? ~~ Mannie

Hey Ann -- it is so weird - on the test times... I can't imagine how late that makes things at night, aiyee!

Tess - Stu and I are at Spots - there is a pool there!!!!! with floaties, and noodles!!! so maybe you can come too? ~~ Mannie

224 @ +10. well back to yellow - I did feed the +5, and the +6 - just to make sure he didn't go any lower... and no bungee stuff, unlikely for today - but this is Mannie, and I wouldn't put it past him - the day is still young.

Your +2 is right where you want it to be. How about getting a +3? If Mannie is on a downward slide, give him some food to level things out. I'd really like to see if you can not let him drop fast and maybe you can prevent a bounce.

Hi Sienne - I agree! yes - i had planned on a +3, and to feed as well - i really do want to keep things level, and prevent those bounces of his. That would be wonderful!!!

I was surfing blue with you today too!
Love the idea of laying in a pool of water. Wish my momma bean would make me a nice little pool like yours in her living room. I like to hang out there on hot days and look out the windoze. I pretend I am outside. If I had a little pool I could practice surfing!

Are you going to Spot's pool party? We can play water polo!

Hey Purrcie! YES!!!!! I am going to Spots pool party - it will be so cool! I hope you are coming. water polo? you'll have to show me how.... It was so HOT here - we hit 93 today: that is alot for us. I like the water - those puddles my bean left we so nice. really cooled me down. You need a pool - just bat your eyes at your bean, do lots of leg rubs, and cuddles and stuff - then give her some really good numbers: she will be like putty in your hands... the pool will be yours! Outside is cool - it is my fav place - Once in a while my bean leaves the window open so I can get really good sniffs... now if she'd just remove the screen. Hey - see you later - maybe we can surf together tomorrow. ~~ Mannie
