Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (LOTS! Hike recovery day.... plus it is mega good today Elsa), and Happy Tuesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT!! Lola and Bug, founders of Paw Prints Pizza , Have proclaimed this to be TUNA TUESDAY in LL, and in honor of this day are making tuna pizzas! They gots a nip and tuna infused crust, and creamed tuna sauce, and chunks of tuna on top, and Tuna infused mozzarella on top, garnished with toasted nip. :shock: interesting! They have been working all night to make sure they gots enough pies...and with that comes, well you know.... the mess..... OLLIE We need the sponges!!! HURRY! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Triple shot espressos, with beans from Ethiopia, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a Venti quad almond roca infused mocha, with chocolate caramel whip, garnished with caramelized almond clusters, chocolate shavings, a dusting of crystallized caramel and dark chocolate drizzle. . OOOOOOOOOOO! SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of chocolate curls, and caramelized almonds and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with choco drizzle. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! AND!!! It is a go! We will have, for sure, TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts!

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. I am so sorry I missed so many condos. I started out wit such good intentions, and things started happening and i just didn't get back here. AIYEE! :roll: :roll: :? ;-) ;-) ;-) I hope today will be better. Yesterday was a good one for me, a hike day. I had thought it was a visiting day for Erin and William, but I got the weeks wrong. Where is that calendar! It failed me! :lol: :lol: Here's what I wrote in last nights post about the hike: "Good afternoon/evening everyone! I finally made it home... Seems silly me got my days mixed up,and it's next Monday that is DD and William day, not today. so.... I went hiking instead! We are 83 at the moment, under clear skies. what a great day here. The morning was so nice too that I thought: out to the coast, to a cliff hike that I really like on Whidbey Island. OH sure.... LOL: I wish I could say the same about Oak Harbor. I get over there and the whole shoreline is fogged in. :shock: :roll: :roll: :roll: It cleared about the time I was headed out., figures huh. oh well,it's ok, no biggie, I had a good time despite the fog. I saw alot of hawks ad eagles, along with a few heron, a few trail bunnies and a family of raccoons. I went to Coupeville after Ebey, as it's only a mile away. I figured why not? See what is is like, as I have never been there. Tiny little place it was, with a very nice street that parallels the water. It looks like they have put some effort into fixing up Front Street. Not too bad, but so geared for the tourist. Nice day all around. Got maybe 9 miles in out of the whole thing. That'll do. :-D" Picassa links: Ebey's Landing, Whidbey Island, and Coupeville. In going to these places I had to cross over the I5 Skagit River bridge: the temp new span that was put into place when the original one fell. One would never know.... LOVE IT! Lola has continued with her faucet drinking. She didn't ask for it, but when I turned the faucet on, she was there, ready for a few slurp slurp slurps, followed by a wet paw face washing. What a cat! She really is a ton of fun. I was also greeted by the welcome home committed when I returned form Whidbey Island. :-D :-D :-D :cool: Lola and Bug were at the top of the stairs, waiting patiently. I have always enjoyed being greeted when I walk in. Mannie was the master - he always had a few tings to say about the timeliness of my returns. The Three Musketeers waiting so reminds me of him- what great memories. All else is well - kitty toys are once again scattered everywhere. They must have one heckuva party at night once I have gone to bed. :lol: :lol: Normalcy in MusketeerVille. :cool:

Have a great day everyone! I am off shortly to have breffis with my son, and then later a dentist appt. I love the thought of breffis, I could do without the dentist. :lol: It's just a checkup, but still.... If there is time I hope to stop in at the Freeway Park in Seattle, and see what's new there, what's blooming, and see some nice city views. No coffee today with my Tuesday get together buddy, as she has meetings at work.

Morning Michelle, oh boy I can't wait to taste this newest tuna pizza. It sounds good. :lol: Do they need Mags to help clean up and do the dishes? Wow on your adventures yesterday and beautiful places and pics. Coupeville looks like a really neat place.
Enjoy breffifs with your son. That's my favorite meal eating out for me. Sending good dental vines.

Have great fun at breffis with your son, enough to last through the dentist check up ;-) Sorry your missing your Tuesday coffee clatch, but you'll have fun anyway. Yesterday's hike looks like it was full of the neatest stuff to look at. GREAT flowers and such cool wildlife. I love the racoon! Thanks for the info on the pier building. We have an old fish house near us in FL that's just been converted to an art studio and coffee house. I like hanging out watching the artists work and having coffee on the water.
Your welcome home committee is so cute! I bet Mannie taught them so you'd know he's still in charge.

Morning Mary ~O) ~O) ~O) THX, and will do on breffis. it is always such fun to hook up with my son. You are welcome on the pier info. We all hope that they can somehow renovate that pier here, but it is doubtful. A storm last winter kicked the building down, the pier itself is in such a stay of "falling apart", so it would take lot of work and money to do that. We all hope though, sure would be nice to see it as it once was. I like what they did with the one by you. I'd be there too hanging out. sounds really nice. THX too on the hike photos. It was fun, foggy, but still fun. Bet you are right on the welcoming committee: it has Mannie written all over it. Same spot too.

So glad you got out and had a good hike yesterday. Fun stuff. And awwww on the kitty welcome home wagon. It makes me think of Mannie every time. It won't be long before Lola will be asking for water...or better yet, demanding it. :lol: Have a great day Michelle!!
 
Hi Michelle......I agree with Rhiannon.....just wait until Lola starts pulling a Checkers on you, and demands that you turn the water on. ....and then go into LB with wet feet....heehee.

Bummer on getting your days with your DD and william mixed up .. though I'm sure you still have a nice day out doing your hiking thing ;-) Enjoy your breakfast out with your son today, and fingers crossed the dental check up goes well!
 
What a beautiful hike yesterday! I love the greeting committee. Tess always used to be sitting in the window watching for us when we were gone for the day. Not so much now as we are seldom gone long together. :roll:

Those are beautiful pictures. You have such great places to explore. I hope you had a good breakfast with your son and everything went well at the dentist. That is so sweet on the kitty welcoming committee.
 
Hi everyone! well.. survived the dentist! YAY! It was just a cleaning, so good to go. I decided to walk through Freeway park on my way to catch the bus home. It is a 3/4 block by 3/4 block city park that sits over the freeway that runs though town. It actually is a very nice place. A few years back it was being overrun my Seattle's down and out population, and just wasn't a very nice place, or gave one a sense of safety. None of the waterfalls and the pools were working then, things were kinda falling apart. It was great to go today and see only one bench sleeper, and all eh the waterfalls were working. What a turnaround. It was so nice to wander through the park, take in some sun, watch the waterfalls do their thing. Very nice. Breffis with my son was good too - it always is. I enjoy the time, and glad he does too. I will post the Picassa link to the photos in tomorrow's LooseLips.

HI Devon - I know - it was so me to mix up the days - just too much going on. oh well! now I have something to look forward to next week. :-D THx on today - dentist was good,and breffis was FUN. It's been a good day.

Hi Ann - THX! I liked yesterday too - Ebey's is great, even when the weather isn't. Me too on the greeting committee. Nice that Tess did too. I've alwyas liked those feline greetings. :cool:

Looks like a really neat day yesterday. Wonderful pictures. So glad you had fun, even though you got your weeks mixed up!

Gotta go chillax now. We were out all day in the heat and humidity (send us your weather, please!!) and I'm tired (and have to climb a mountain tomorrow). Catch up with you tomorrow evening.

I'm glad it was an easy dental appointment...I always dread going, but I'm also very diligent about it, as my Mom has horrible dental issues. I never want to be in her shoes.

I'm not surprised Lola went for more faucet water...I think once a faucet kitty, always a faucet kitty :lol: ! Since two of ours only drink from the faucet, we only let it trickle for them, and they only get it when we're around. I can only imagine what the water bill would be if we had one of those "tap to turn on" types of faucets :lol: !

I noticed the smilies were gone earlier today, too...I just thought it was my ancient laptop at work. Hopefully they'll be back soon.

Glad you had such a nice day - even the dentist not being so bad! Love your pictures, the headstone from the 1800's, makes my mind wander and imagine. And nice to hear about the park being "built" back up. A sign of better times, maybe?

And then a kitty welcoming committee - sounds like a perfect end to a great day :-D

Hi Ella - THX on the photos,a dn eh day. It is a nice area, even with foggy weather! I will laugh at the weeks mix-up. way too much going on. I need to do better with my calender! :lol: :lol: WOW on yur day - I will send out weather!! be careful on that mountain climb. I will read your condo to see where you are going... A for sure on passing on those scritches!!

Hi Amy - me too on the dentist, I do go faithfully, every cleaning I need to do, as my mother too had dental issues from an early age too. And I sure don't want that for me. I so agree with what you wrote. I think so too on the faucet. She isn't demanding it, but will show up if she hears it running. TOO FUN! I hope so too on the smilies.

Hi Jane - THX, it has been a decent one, even with the dentist. ;-) THX on the photos. That cemetery was really cool, and very old. I too wondered about who these people were, what it was like there so long ago. I hope so too on the park in Seattle. better times I think. I'm not sure if they found a benefactor to support the expense or not, but it was nice to see. Good for the city, as it is a nice place to go to get out of the office for a while. YUPP! A welcoming committee! always a plus, and a perfect wrap up. :-D hey - you are welcome on all.
