Miss you all!!! Sorry I haven't been posting daily. I keep trying, just soo freaking busy.

Kona had another one of her episodes where she lost her appetite and I took her in because I was worried for my baby. They gave her an injection of B12 and fluids and I believe that got her back to about 90%. She's eating pretty good now, just gotta give some toppers.

I think it was some sort of gastrointestinal upset that cleared out... this has happened like three times now. The first time we went to the ER and they did fluids, some pain meds, and a bunch of tests with nothing ever showing up. The second time, I managed it on my own with just cerenia and mirataz. This time, after day three of cerenia and mirataz not working I didn't want to take any chances and went to the vet. I was using a tube of mirataz that was already opened and was months old, so maybe if a I had a new tube it would've got her through.. who knows, didn't want to risk it.

The vet was worried if it was pancreatitis, so we did the full profile.

$1,200 later, no answers, but she's pretty close to normal. I'm still waiting to get results from the full pancreatic panel and the diabetes panel. Not sure why it's taking so long, maybe over the weekend? I'll call tomorrow.

Same ol' same ol' dealing with miss thang...

I'll follow-up with the results....

Hi Jason, we’ve missed you and your girls.
Sending you all big hugs and hope Kona feels much better. You’re a great Dad and are on it with every turn.
Hoping she steadies out for you. Her numbers look great. Hopefully this is just a tiny bump and she’s ok.
Please give your girls lots of pets from me and purrs from Ivy :bighug::cat::bighug:

So glad to see your post! I hope you get to the bottom of her tummy troubles. I know how frustrating it is waiting.
Hope we see more of you and Kona!

uggh---the $ is ridiculous, I'm so sorry for the expense. You are a great Dad though! Totally understand about the lack of time to post- hope calmer days are on the way soon and Kona starts to feel better and you get some answers soon! Sending hugs to you and the girls!
