Yes, it is Wednesday but no this is not DH    I (Marje) am off work today ---->
We've been mindfully sending healing vines and prayers to JD, Lucy, Sasha, Minka, Tricia, Harvey, Zener, and any others needing them today. We are a bit late in wishing congrats to Peyton and Julie on a successful OTJ trial!
Gracie and Tobey have been really enjoying the "cooler" weather we've had since the monsoons started. They have wanted to be out on the catio nonstop. Occasionally, Missy G will come in the house and hop up on the counter for FD chicken treats or she will agree to play for a little while but she's just loving stretching out on the flagstone and watching her birds and lizards. Big Bird was back the other day.....hadn't seen him in a while but this time he was in the front courtyard so she could view him face-to-face through the catio screen. With the rain, there are many more creatures out at night like tarantulas and we have several in the courtyard. Tobey and Gracie are mesmerized
We took her dose up to 0.35u on Sunday night to try and flatten/smooth her out. She's finally starting to settle a bit on this dose and do much better with her normal lovely greens. We were discussing how funny it is that she has been in flat, high blue with a titch of yellow but when this little extra jooce of 0.05u finally started to click in, it dropped her curve down to nice, flat high green with a titch of blue. We will take it. We'd be thrilled if she'd stay between 80-130 all the time. But shhh.....don't tell her.
Mike did snap this photo of her the other day when we made her come in because it was raining hard and she was starting to get wet.

I just needs this little nap, please.
We've been absent because on Sunday afternoon when we were cleaning up the yard after the storm, I accidentally stepped on a mesquite branch. For those of you not familiar with mesquite trees, they have nasty, nasty thorns ranging from 1-2" long and very thick.....and wicked sharp. The one I stepped on was about 1-1/2" long and it went right through my flip flop into the ball of my foot. The thorns also have toxins in them so the puncture is painful but I also had an allergic rxn to it. I'm just now able to put weight on my foot again and the swelling is almost subsided but I had to take antihistamines and ibuprofen which knocked me out because I'm such a med wimp     I've been I-) I-) I-) a lot from the meds and Mike has been a real hero taking care of all things kitty and the house/pool, groceries, meals, errands, etc. I am blessed beyond measure with that man! At any rate, looks like my foot is on the upswing now.
Hope you have all been well. Have an awesome day!
