Good morning LL!! Sending more healing vines out to Zener, Maggie, Jupiter, Pat's Shadow, and any other ailing beans or kitters. Still keeping Kathie in our thoughts and prayers. Thank you all for your visits yesterday and Jennifer....you're welcome!!! You did a super job!
WOHOHO!!! LBG gave me the bestest start to my birthday (since Liz let the cat out of the bag ;-) ). She hopped up on me....purr purr purr....snuggled down under my chin in our usual snuggling position and I scratched her back like she loves. I was rewarded with a very happy mmeeeerrrooowww in her little tiny voice. Then she got up, walked behind me (I was lying on my side), and sat down right by my derriere and then began kneading it like she was giving me the most wonderful massage she could muster :lol: :lol: :lol: She did it with the same intensity that she kneads the sherpas.....that little sweet face so focused on a birthday massage for mama. Fifteen minutes of massage :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Oh how I love this baby girl.
Now her numbers...AACKKKK!! ARGHHH!! URGGGHHH! ICKKK!! Ok...so she is just giving me permission to go out and have a fun day without thinking about her BG. Thank you, sweet Principessa. I tweaked the dose up a bit because I've been thinking about it the last few days anyway....just not enough green going on for us. I'm sure she will get back to bidness soon.....just taking a break.
Mom is better today. She's complaining again so that usually means she's feeling well enough to be up but is unhappy because they are making her keep her legs elevated. IV a/bs continue. I'm just so glad she is out of the hospital and is getting more personalized attention through the caregivers, home health nurse, her nurse advocate, and her helper Rosie.
I hope you all have a lovely day. We are going to go see World War Z in 3D (at least make another attempt) and then dinner out later on. Hugs to each of you.
