After only 4 cycles on 1.25U, Frodo had gone low on cycles 1,3,4 at that dosage. I realize that the depot may still have been affecting BG for a few cycles, but am also aware of the dangers of him running too low. So we cut the dosage again as of this am, down to 1U. (We also need to not be getting up over and over again during our sleep time.)
This little guy seems to be determined to go OTJ, and as fast as possible. I hope! It's just 3 weeks since we put him back on Lantus after 4 days off due to a probable infection. Never got him back up to the dosage he was on before that hiatus, and his dosage has been dropping like a rock since then.
(We're not sure on the infection: elevated white count in bloodwork and this week white cells in his urine, so he's back on Baytril for a while - hope to figure out exactly what's going on.)
