So maybe we'll see some blue again for Cobb today. A much lower AMPS for him. Not sure where that pink came from. Perhaps overcompensating a bit on the "I'm good, here's your daypass, Mom."

Second day of daycare drop off did not go well, but I just checked and they said he's doing okay. Got fussy when they put him down, but then started playing. And it's snack time now, so we all know THAT is going well. I'm usually happier at snack time too. They said to give him about 2 weeks to adjust and he'll never remember he was upset to begin with. Okay, but I will!!!!! Haha.

Anyway, I hope everyone is having a great week!

Looks like nice blue waters for Cobb this AM, hope he surfs safely! Sorry to hear about the daycare/drop off scene, but it is amazing how a little snacktime changes their POV! You will be surprised how quickly this adjustment time will pass too, have a great day!

we all love snack time! i just polished off a bag of chips (hehehe don't tell anyone!) and it's making me very happy. haven't had a chip since march, mostly because i don't have the self-control to stop once i start.

cobb looks pretty good - keeping out of the danger zone, but high enough so you don't have to worry all day.

sounds like a good daycare!

Great news from the daycare today. They told Matty to "lay down" because it was nap time, AND HE DID. Shut the Front Door. Seriously? He won't do that with us. But they told Matt that they were starting to see good progress of him adjusting, so that made this Mama smile. And Cobb is being good, waiting for his timed feeder before he throws us some low AMPSes. This week is getting better!

i think the biggest factor for success in school for kids is that they are relatively obedient and will listen and follow directions by the time they start kindergarten.

Sounds like Matty's already on his way - for 1, that's pretty fantastic!

someone told me that the measure of your success as a parent is not how your kids behave for you, but how they behave for other people. kids always give you their worst! parents are lucky that way. ;-)
