Blackie had some low blues last night, but we still aren't getting very good numbers during the day. I'm thinking about a small dosecrease to a fat 2.75 or a skinny 3 units, but I'm still unsure.

WCR: Blackie is still feeling good despite his kidney values not being as good as we hoped. Last night when I tested at +8 he was sleeping in the office closet with Bitsy. This is especially sweet because Blackie & Bitsy used to be close buddies until we got the other 2 civies, and then Bitsy was afraid of all the cats. Blackie is still eating well and is getting some exercise.

I tend to agree. I'd see how this cycle looked and think about an increase. Your last good dose was 3.0. I'd probably think about going back to that dose but it's your call.

I agree with Sienne, 2.75 not enough right now--You know sometimes you need to go up to come back down...
Guess you could try a sk 3.00--Hope Blackie comes down today--You are doing such a good job!--HUGS~! :mrgreen:

I agree with Sienne, 2.75 not enough right now--You know sometimes you need to go up to come back down...

This I can relate too, IMHO, - we had to go up to get better results, been there before, and back down, and again up... It's all about what keeps our babies safe. Good luck with the dosecrease! Mannie say hheeellllooooooooo to Blackie.

FD is a rollercoaster ride, good luck with the increase, I'm sure Blackie will respond and you'll see better #'s

Ele, what a sweet WCR. :smile: I bet Bitsy misses her buddy, especially if she doesn't like the other 2 kitties. I love seeing kitties snuggled up together.

Good luck with the dosecrease! I wholeheartedly agree with "sometimes you have to go up to come down". Buzz has been doing well on this "new" dose of 0.75u, but just a week or so ago when she was on it, she was lucky to get blue. Hopefully this will be the case for Blackie, too.
