Yesterday's condo

Walter's pancreas took a day off yesterday, but it looks he reported back to work this morning. Nice drop for the first three hours.

I also took the afternoon off after my volunteer shift yesterday. It was extra hot and humid and after walking dogs for three hours, all I managed to do was lay around on my couch. The furry crew enjoyed their lazy day at home and none of my dog were particularly keen on melting on a walk.

Today, my friend Kristen (who took care of my kits when I was in Germany) is coming over. I'm sure the kittens will be excited to have another person here to entertain them.

I guess Walter got sick of the heat and decided to head down towards the lagoon for the breeze coming off the water. Hope you and friend have fun with the furry little sharks, I mean kittens.

Hope you and friend have fun with the furry little sharks, I mean kittens.

Well, they once again proved that they are indeed furry little sharks. Everyone had a great time playing, especially when they got to chase their new favorite toy (DaBird with feathers AND a bell). Everything was great - until the food came out. As Kristen was fumbling with the can and trying to figure out how she could equally divide the food between 8 bowls, Iris decided she better let her know she was starving and chomped down on her finger. And for those of you who haven't played with kittens recently: they have sharp little shark teeth.

I am also very happy with Walt's numbers today. Two brief visits to the lagoon with a little beach time in between. Not bad at all. Really curious how the PM cycle will go... one more drop below 50 and he will get his first reducie since I got back from Germany.
