I gave Trix another reducie (from 2.75 to 2.50) this morning after last night's early dip into the 40s again. Earlier this year, I was making her work a little harder for reducies - usually 3 drops below 50 - and I was often shaving rather than going with the full .25U reduction because she is notorious for not holding them. But lately, she seems pretty darned serious about this whole "earning reductions" thing, so I'm following her lead. Hopefully she won't stall out or - worse - shoot way back up again. I can't help but think that this has to do with changing her diet around, since that's really when these crazy reduction cycles started.

It is cold and white here today. But, TWC is claming 61 degrees on Sunday. I hope they're right with that one, too!

Hey, Trixie and Tarragon are even on the same dose! They are definitely up to something. I hope the reducie holds. How are your parents doing? I hope it warms up there for you and all the white stuff melts soon. Have a great day Amy!

Thanks for asking Melissa...SMALL bit of hope over in their neighborhood: they two trees that were laying across the road/on power lines were removed yesterday. And, they have SEEN trucks drive by with new poles on them. None have stopped yet, but at least they've been spotted - that in and of itself is progress! My Mom is still bummed, though. She'll call and chat with me on the phone, but she won't really leave the house (thank God they have heat now, thanks to my SIL's generator!). I'd love for her to come over to my store and take a beading class, even though beading isn't her thing, but she just will not do it, and I can't force her. Please keep prayer for their power to come back and stay back until they can get their whole house generator installed!

Hi Amy, congrats on the reducie and I, too, hope it holds. Trixie has been throwing those 40's lately. I was thinking of your parents, too, with this latest snowfall. I was watching TWC, and it looks like such a heavy snow. Hope they are hanging in there, especially your DM. Take care.
 
Beautiful day for Trix. She is doing great and paws crossed for those reductions.

I am glad your parents have heat but I sure hope they get power soon. We've heard on our news you're supposed to get another cold storm.

Thanks for your support about Gus. I hope I can take his ups and downs more in stride and realize everyone that is older has good and bad days. Thanks for reminding me. :-D
 
And the Trixster just slides into the lagoon! Well done! I hope your parent's power comes back on soon, what a drag. At least they have the generator now. And I'm really sorry about the white stuff - please send it here! We'd be happy to have it.

HI Amy - once again, sorry for the late visit. It seems to be the only time I have these days. It has been another whirlwind day with Nicholas. Such fun we had. And Mannie behaved while we were gone! YAY! I do hope your day has been a good one.

Trixie!! I see green! good luck with the reducion - I hope Trixie will hold onto it. Right Trixie?

Also hope that things are getting back to normal there for you, and your parents.
