Hello everyone! Just wanted to check in and say hello. I hope everyone's summer is going well. We just made it through a long heatwave. It was 103 (in DC) today at 2p and then the storms blew through and it's now in the 70's. Still pretty humid but I will take the lower temps anyday!

Tiki is still holding strong OTJ. All his spot tests have been in the 60's. My only question for anyone else OTJ is this - he seems to be STARVING all the time. He seems hungrier OTJ than he ever was when his numbers were higher. Just wondering if this is something anyone else has encountered or if I am just not feeding him enough. He is getting 3 cans of FF classics per day - which never seem like enough. I dont want to starve him yet I dont want to over feed him either and make him into a porky butt. I miss being able to off set his wet meals with dry food as snackage but I don't dare do that!!!

Just wondering if I should be alarmed at all or if I am reading too much into it. Any advice?

The only thing I would suggest is that the next time you have a vet visit, get him checked for hyperthyroid. One symptom of hyper-T is an increased appetite. However, if he's not losing weight, I wouldn't be too worried.

No weight loss - he's is pretty much normal except that he is just hungry all the time. My last cat was HyperT and it was so obvious - she was 8lbs when she crossed the bridge. Tiki doesn't look a thing like that! Just holding steady and normal on all other fronts. A hairball once every few months...normal cat stuff.

You could cross post on Health to see if anyone has experienced anything similar. Maybe Tiki is feeling good and is just more active. I'd discuss it with your vet the next time you have an appointment.
