Good Morning Everyone,

Today they say that it will be hot, but not as hot! We'll see. Right now it's not too bad, around 70 degrees. Stu had a good night (in this weather I think he's too hot to pound on doors!), ate a good breakfast (installment 1), all Ps in order, he's been outside to check out the catmint. And at the moment is playing with one of his mice (which I just "renewed" with a little catnip). Today is a chore day around here: mowing the grass, shopping, etc. DH and I will get out for a walk before it gets too hot. Mr. Cat will chill out in front of the fan (he likes to lie on his back with his feet in the air and let the cool air stream over his belly).

Everyone keep cool. The end of the heat wave is in sight!

Yo kitties: That was a fun party at Doodles' place on the beach. Great surfing! Man, I'm tired! Kitchen crew: you did great.

Morning Ella and Stu! I heard that Stu was his usual wonderful self at the party last night...maybe that's why Shadow doesn't want to eat his breffis~~He's so full for all of Stu's food from last night!

Sure hope this heat wave breaks soon! It's drizzly here right now, but heading back up to the 90's. Rain last night certainly hasn't helped the humidity level at all. Glad to hear Stu is having a good day already. :smile:

Oh, Chef Stu, looks like you are heading in the right direction!! How cute it is that Stu likes to have the fan blow over his belly...I can just imagine that pose, lol.
Yep, this heat is a killer! They said it will be over tomorrow. My pool water is almost like bath water and I don't have a heater or a solor blanket on it...now that's warm!

Nice to see Stu coming down already. Looking for blue soon. Quite a party last night. Tess came home very last, and without her surfboard. Guess, we have to go looking for it.

Sounds like you are cooling down, just as we are warming up. We've had fog nearly all day for the last several days.

Ella- I hope your heat wave breaks soon. It's pretty miserable, that's for sure. Anything fun planned for this weekend? You always have such good adventures. :-D

What a party! You outdid yourself (again). The food was excellent, and I think the crew all worked well together. We're becoming a well-oiled machine, huh? I can't wait until the next one. Stay cool; that sounds like a neat trick with the fan. I like to do the same thing in front of the heat register in the winter. See you soon!

What great numbers for Stu today. He must not mind the heat, even in his fur coat. :mrgreen: I love the image of the fan blowing across his stomach.

Hi Ella - too funny with Stu and the fan. Mannie likes to face the thing head on - let the breeze ruffle the whiskers. It amazes me that he doesn't lose one or two - silly boy.
