Good Friday Morning, Everyone,

We have a good start to the day: good test, shot, breakfast, Naturvet Hairball gel (which he liked!), and now an encounter with Shadow in the garden. Shadow wants to play and wants Rusty to chase him. No luck there, but they touched noses 3 or 4 times, each time with Shadow scampering off. I didn't hear any hisses or growls. Edward is out with them. Shadow is under the car. Rusty is sitting near by, watching him. I thought Rusty might be under the weather this morning, because all he wanted to do after breakfast was sleep. But now that he is "engaged" in a situation, he has perked up.

Today is a day of chores. We want to go down to Camp tomorrow and have a lot to get done first (the landfill; a trip to Plattsburgh for cat treats; some shopping, cleaning, etc.). Back later. Everyone have a good day.

Looks like Rusty and Shadow are on their way to being friends.
Good to hear Rusty has perked up and that he liked his hairball meds. My cats love it.

Ella I missed it or my foggy brain forgot yet again (my memory is worse than a goldfish's now). Who is Shadow? I bet I've asked before - it sounds familiar.

Hi Karrie,
Shadow is a "teenager" kitten who lives across the street (all black with a very fluffy tail). He spends a lot of time in our yard because it is bigger than his. He wants Rusty to play with him and when they are out at the same time he tries to engage Rusty in a chase. But Rusty will have none of it. He just sits and tries to ignore Shadow (although the first thing he does when he goes outside is look for Shadow!). They have reached the "touching noses" stage, sometimes followed by a hiss or a growl.

I wanted to thank you for all the help you are giving Claudia by posting for her when she can't. I know how difficult it must be for her with a new job and a new health issue for Rocket.

I love reading about Henry and Victoria. They are neat kitties. Wishing you a good start to the weekend,

Morning guys!! nice start today for Rusty. :-D that amps sure looks green to me! It is good to read that he has perked up!

Looks like Rusty may have a new playmate - looks promising! Shadow sure is a friendly kitty.

Good luck with all the chores today - exciting though - off to Camp Stu tomorrow. YAY!

Rusty! The kitty-kid is back? He , we're gonna see what this "swim meet " thingy is that Auntie Michelle is going to. Maybe we can have one at Camp Stu later. :dizcat Oh, I LUBS Camp Stu! -- Tess

Beautiful AMPS and lovely cycle for Rusty....hope he can become friends with Shadow and maybe play chase?!!

That is great news to come here and see that shadow and Rusty aren't "strangers" any longer.. and they touched noses.. :-D That must be so cute to see. Have you gotten any pictures of Shadow yet or have I missed them?
I hope that in the midst of all your chores you had some fun time!!
Have a good time at camp tomorrow, I hope the weather is beautiful for you :-D
