All's good in Pollywood. With the critters, anyway. Oh, and me, too. But a deluge Monday afternoon, one of those desert gully washers stalled over my subdivision and within an hour I was flooded. No water in house. Just the breezeway and garage. And, of course, all the silt, mud, and yard debris that raged down the city's drainage ditches from over a mile away and came to rest all over my driveway, yard, sidewalks. Yes, the city's drainage plan diverts water down roadside ditches all the way from the red cliffs a mile or so west of me down through a park (yes, a ditch through the park) and over to my block where the city didn't do any ditching. Frustrating.
Need mud? I can send tons!
Polly's doing well. Got the yowly, zoomy kitten action going last night. Of course, right at bed time! Good appy this morning followed by good nappy now.
Will is doing fine. Stiff in his front end, a little wobbly, but we are doing some multi-block leash walks now. Won't know the full impact of the stroke for several weeks, but so far....good!
The Fuzzybear continues to do well! Eating, breathing, purring, attention-demanding...all excellent. No walkabouts for the last two days. All that mud, you know. So he's getting a little cabin fever inspired door darting action going on. I love it.
Rowsie. Peaceful co-existence with everyone! I'm beginning to wonder if they gave me the wrong cat back when I picked her up from her dental last Tuesday. Whatever. I think I'll keep her!
Lots of thoughts for kitties and beans...
And as usual, vines and wishes.
