Thinking of Andrea/Tennessee - hugs and purrs going out to them today.

Neko was a sweetie today. After my shower I was down on the floor doing some stretching (after rowing) and had my eyes covered. I felt a light wisp of fur against me, then a gentle tongue on my knee. Then she started licking my elbow over and over.:kiss:

OT Air report: slightly better today. We had favorable winds overnight which cleared it away a bit. Air was better this morning than for Monday's row, but there is still an air quality warning. Solarium is HOT with windows closed. Silly cats! Forecast is for showers on Sunday. All fingers and paws crossed here. 12 new fires started in the province in the last day.

That little Neko sure loves her Mama, and we know how much her Mama loves her :):cat:
Relieved to hear that the air quality is a bit better, but 12 new forest fires  I hope it pours like the dickens out there, I love the beautiful B.C. forests and hate hearing about them burning. And the poor little critters who call these forests home :(

Too cute on licking your elbow! I wonder what was so tasty? Leftover salt from rowing? :joyful: Paws crossed for gentle, soaking rain.

Wendy, I know that feeling. After I test Shiloh, and give her treats, when I'm loving on her, she starts licking me everytime. She always has been a licker. So I have one dog and one cat that are lickers, and one dog and one cat that aren't.

Nothing like kitty kisses. My girls are kissers, but no the boys. Harvey is into head butts and Cinco rubs you with his cheeks (or he may just be scratching an itch ).

I hope the rain comes and gives you all some relief. I wish we had some in the forecast here.

I love that Neko kisses you!

The fire smoke is affecting a lot of the states as well. Lots of warnings to stay inside this week. Ontario got it yesterday. My sister was really surprised when what she thought was fog didn't dissipate.
Praying the fires go out from the rain and the hard work of the fire fighters.

This morning showers were forecast for Sunday and Monday, now it's just Sunday. :( And it's only up to 60% chance so could be a no go. Some idiot was setting bush fires in a green belt behind homes in our community. They are out, but really?!!

Carla, Lori, Elise, Liz, Rhonda, Peg, Tricia, Linda - Thanks for stopping in. Neko has always been conservative with her licks, but there's something about a human after a shower that's attractive. Normally it's the shins, followed by a gentle bite. Theo's licking would put a puppy to shame. btb's after rowing involve a full face, neck and ear wash. Especially nice when he's just polished off some yummy raw food. My favorite are kangaroo kisses.
@Linda and Scooter & Jack - BC is getting firefighters from Ontario, Australia and New Zealand to help.

Crystal is a bit of a flicker too, but mostly confines it to my hands. Don't think I would be too keen on kangaroo kisses!
Hope they catch those idiots starting the Bush fires, it's frightening to think these morons are amongst us. Well done to all the fire fighters involved. Praying for rain clouds.
