362 @ amps for Mannie this morning - a bit of a bounce after an great morning yesterday. Mannie was able to surf green for a bit, some blue too. All in all, a good day for him. We are, like most of the country, warm here - topped at 88 yesterday, and Mannie seemed to handle that well. He knows where to go to stay cool.

I am hiking today, so in part (bad me) glad to see a "safe" number this morning. I hope while I am gone he can find the yellows, surf that to a bit, - so no worries! He is on his own, food in the feeder. I hope to be able to visit condos later today.

WCR: Great! The boy is a master at finding cool spots when it does get warm here - and so he did. He's in a good mood this morning - lots of purrs, breffis consumed, ready to go out and scout the yard. He seems to have "survived" all the parties and hang outs and surfin' yesterday just fine - no clue here what time he rolled in.

Hey Mannie, Come over to my place again and we'll hang out on the porches. It's not going to be quite as hot. We'll have some of Grandma Lucy's treats, and I just got a stash of salmon Liv a Littles. We can try those, too. Is there any food left over from the party? Probably not. Whatever. While your mamabean is hiking, we can kick back and chill out. Maybe some of the other kitties will join us. They're all welcome.

Well yesterday was very nice...he will be back in those nice numbers soon. RBC is a noisy chaotic place Mannie..you don't want to linger there, okay? Hope you enjoy your hike!

Sometimes our kitties do pay attention to the needs of their staff. You get to go an d Tess let me go to bed last night. She is taking a day off from surfing too.

Hi all! I made it back with 15 minutes to spare... why do I always cut it, pmps and shoot time that is, so close.... and will you look at that - came home to a 280. YAY! WAY TO GO MANNIE! yeah - I know not a stellar number, but it does mean that he decided he didn't like stinkus-pinkus-land and hopefully will hang out in the yellows for a while, or maybe even return to blue.. who knows.

I had a fantastic hike! It was another river one, with several falls along the way, and a few lakes. I had hoped to make it all the way to one of the larger lakes there, however ran into a huge creek washout, with rocks and boulders which meant - horrors!! - scrambling up over down under and in between unstable rocks and fast moving water. i am too old for this s*** ('cuse me!). bummer - as i was about 1 mile from the lake. anyways - did not have enough time to safely navigate that, so turned around and focused on the waterfalls, which was the original destination anyways. GOOD TIMES!!

Dottie - I see Ann gave you the link for the smilies - they are a lot of fun, they have some real good ones.

STU! DUDE! Thanks for the invite! I had such fun there, and stopped in a Moonie's too - us kitties really have the life. I left my bean a note - haha: she came to no Mannie! :shock: The treats are SO GOOD!!! I love grandma lucy's!! the salmon ones were good too - my bean only has chicken - silly bean! Nah no food leftover - we dropped it all off at Spots last night - he ate it all! Guess his toothies are feeling ok.... ~~ Mannie

Hi Ann - I think you are so right... Told Mannie last night I was hiking today, so give me a workable number. and he did, and gave me a better one for my return home. Hope Tess had a good day - I have yet to visit anyone's condos - hope I have time! Thanks for giving Dottie the smiley link - i enjoy the ones they have there. fun stuff!

Hi Michelle, Your 14-mile hike sounds wonderful. Too bad you couldn't get to the lake (a swim would have been nice), but it is really tough to boulder hop in a fast-moving river (I don't do that sort of thing any more unless there's no alternative!!). I hope the weather wasn't too hot. Here it was awful all day, but right now a thunderstorm is threatening, so hopefully the weather will break. At least there's a breeze now!

Mannie & Stu and Moonie had a good time today. The cats' life--ah! So glad Mannie's numbers came down and also glad that you didn't have to worry about him today.

Hi Ella! here on the no- unless there is no alternative. If I had more time (darn Mannie :lol: :lol: ) I may have gone across - it just would have taken way too long... besides, I shouldn't be doing that kind of rock climbing and boulder hoping anyways :shock: :o :? - my kids would have my hide.... :lol: :lol: Weather was ok - 85, sunny, a little breeze, but cooler in the mountains. We topped at 92 today - HOT for us!

Stu - it was great! What will we do tomorrow? hmmmm - we need a plan! I think - you think - I'm sure we will come up with something...

Hi guys! Flat yellow continues... 230 @ +4.... oh boy - might be a busy morning, or maybe evening, tomorrow. GO KITTY! uh - just blue though OK? Mom has stuff to do tomorrow too Mannie from like +5 to +10. :lol: :lol: I wonder if he will listen to me two night in a row???? :shock:

Hi Ann - Never a stick in the mud... nah... You gotta do what you have to do, comfort level and all that. Doubt I'd be taking off of Mannie had Tess's numbers. I've been lucky so far - haven't had to cancel too much. sometimes I just feed what I know will carry him over until I get back. Hike days though are different - am gone all day. so far - haven't had to cancel one. But I agree with you - Ella has the best - I just love reading her stuff. ANd thanks for the bungee link - it is my favorite - and so Mannie. have a great night!
