The kitty choir, aka my back-up alarm system, failed me this morning :o , and the bean overslept by 30 minutes :shock: :shock: . so much for making up last nights late shot time. :roll: Funny thing was that all three of them were waiting at the top of the stairs this morning with that "so.... where you been?" look - no singing or bellowing or "hurry up I'm starving look".... :lol: :lol: and... once again... no civvie whacking. :o :shock: :cool: Everybody ate with gusto (hmmmm.... maybe they were starving...) and then went to their respective corners. Mannie's being, of course, the nanner pile, where napping is in progress with him sprawled across the top of them. They must need protecting again. Go Mannie!

Have a great day everyone! I am DGS free today - slight change of plans this morning. All is well, my DD has an extra day off this week. lucky her! :-D I am not too sure what will be for today - there is a swim meet I would like to go to, so maybe we will do that, should Mannie issue me a permission slip. :-D

My friends!! What is up??? You guys wanna do sumtin'? Maybe some mountain gliding.... jet skis.... dune buggys.... kitty hiking.... pool lounging.... tour-de-france kitty style.... lap swimming (uhhhhhh.... i kinda need to do some of that....)... road trippin'.... - let me know - I am ready for anything!! ~~ Mannie

GREEN MANNIE! Good start to the day. Michelle, it's nice that your DD has the day off and that you can take a little break, too. Enjoy the swim meet. Looks like Mannie will give permission to go! Pretty soon it will be time for Nicholas to learn to swim! (Hard to believe that he's 6 months old already!)

I needz a break from this heat, and I hear that we're going to be hotter than yesterday... perhaps 104(?). MommBean didn't catch da weather this a.m., so she couldn't really tell me how hot iz gonna get. Pool sounds great right about now. :-D

Hi Irowen... I know!! Definitely starving... so weakened by their condition. :lol: :lol: :lol: amazing amps, isn't it - that was a surprise this morning - a nice one!

Morning Ella - It is a great start, isn't it. Love it, surprised to see it, but no complaints... I think I should be able to go to the meet... it doesn't start til 11AM, and by then Mannie should be on a surf of some sort. paws crossed anyways. --- and yes on Nicholas and the pool... I had been thinking about that. We have a community pool nearby, and they have a shallow play area for the little guys - maybe we could do that in the mornings some days. Time to get him used to the water too!

Hi Bonnie - I so hope he stays there too - the +2 is promising... now just to get him to surf this would be so great. :razz:

Hi Angela - nice isn't it. love it! I am so hoping for a green surf - a nice safe green surf... YAY!!

Rusty! DUDE! I am so stoked!! our very own swim meet - at Camp Stu! Wayyyyyyyyyyyyy cool! I will bring the gang - for sure! We will have to have a cookout or sumthin' after all that racin'... those swimmers get really hungry!! hey - I feel GREAT today - I should surf the greens like this more often. Look at what we missed today while we were out and about!!! What a GORGEOUS day for Mannie...and all that surfing. I bet you had your hands full between him and the baby!! One tired bean I bet.

Hope he has a great night but allows you some sleepus!!

Mannie...what a great time watching all the kitties practice their swimming in our pool....and diving!!! Mamabean had to put water wings on Tess!! Off to Camp Stu soon for some real swimming!

Hi Marje - oh yes... what a day! He did well - nice surf, not too bad on the % for the fuds... what I did give were really tiny portions. anyways... YAY!!! Love it! and no DGS today - long story... but my DD had an off day and therefore, so did I. went to a swim meet today - nice, as I haven't been able to get too many this year, and I do miss them. I hope so too on the evening's cycle. It looks like it will be a low blue one - fine by me, as he had such a super morning... :-D

Gracie - it was fun, wasn't it!! Our real kitty swim meet tomorrow at camp stu will be so fun!! everybody gets to race,and we gots ribbons for everyone! It will be so fun!!! and maybe a cookout afterwards... we racers get really hungry.... I LUBS the diving part!! uh yeah.... we better get water wings for Tess - she likes to dive really deep at camp stu.... remember Halloween?????? See you!! ~~ Mannie
