Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (lots. it's the first day of a new week....), and Happy Monday everyone!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT!! It's CHEERY CHERRY MONDAY! Lola and Bug, founders of Paw Prints Pizza , in honor of this day are making cheery cherry pizzas! They gots cheery cherry infused crust, and cheery cherry sauce, and cherries on top, and cheery cherry infused whip, and caramelized cheery cherries for sprinkles. Sure sounds like alot of cherries to me..... :shock: interesting! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a VENTI Quad cherry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cherry whip garnished with candied cherry sprinkles and white chocolate curls.... SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of chocolate curls, and cheery cherry and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with cherry drizzle. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! AND!!! It is a go! We will have, for sure, TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Yesterday was rather uneventful here, though I did get things caught up. After hiking one day last week, having Nicolas for some, and then playing with my DD and the boys yesterday, well.... it was so needed! I did take the afternoon off from all that fun yesterday to take my usual hike trough the woods to the shore. It was kinda busy then, but not too bad. I didn't take too many photos, just a few. So her you go: More Meadowdale

Lola continues to be Lola. Bug ad Elsa watch from the sidelines and glad it's not their name that they are hearing coming from my lips. :lol: :lol: Yesterday Lola decides to go exploring yet again behind the desks that hold the computers, which are networked together. well.... she stepped on the power switch again that powers the network here, shut all of it down, again.This is not the first time she has done this. I could see it coming and couldn't grab her fast enough. :o :roll: :roll: LMAO. it just takes forever to get all up and running again when the shutdown is not normal. I may have to move that somehow if she continues to step on the darn thing. ShessHhh! Earlier that morning she was exploring again, and knocks over this rack that holds all the DVD's.... Sent them all flying. :shock: :roll: :roll: That is hard to do, since it sits in a corner, between other furniture. The obstacles did not stop her. What a mess.... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: I wonder what today will hold. :shock:

This is kinda fun: DSIL is cleaning out a small garden pond that they have, removing all the leaves debris etc,, when He discovers that he has three salamanders living in it. :shock: :shock: :shock: What fun! Wait till Nicholas discovers he has live critters in his pond. OMG.....

I hope everyone has a great day today. I am not too sure what will be here. I may go hiking, but am waiting to hear if DD, and William will be by. She was dropping Nicholas off at the other grandparents house so he could do an activity they had planned. so... we shall see in a few what will be. Either would be great!

Happy Monday. Oh Lola! What a pill. I read that she is a faucet drinker. Congratulations and welcome to the faucet drinking cat club. Both of ours are faucet drinker, though Tarragon doesn't as much anymore. Turnup will sit at the sink and scream until you turn it on.

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O) LOL on the faucet club! This is my first member. I love it, and hope she repeats. only a couple of times yesterday, and we shall see what today brings. :-D
 
I'm sorry, I had to LOL...I am LOVING the Adventures of Lola! She reminds me a lot of my civvie, Frankie (who is also girl, despite her name)...she has such a love for life that everything is a toy and nothing is off limits. When the rescue group first dropped her off at my house, the second she came out of the carrier, she found a ball and started chasing it...she didn't care that she was in a brand new place, she just knew the world is her toy box.

YUM on that cherry pizza!!! That with some of Elsa's 10 hour energy, and I am SET!

Morning Amy ~O) ~O) ~O) I think I would love Frankie - she does sound so much like Lola, and Yes! That was the way it was here when we brought Lola and bug home. Out of the carriers and let the fun begin. They found the toys right off too. You gotta love it. I like that analogy: the world is her toy box, True! Bug is very laid back, plays alot, but does not have that curiosity and love of exploration that Lola has. LOL too on that cherry pizza, what more could anyone want on a Monday. :-D
 
Hi, Michelle! I wasn't able to post during my trip, but I was able to follow The Adventures of Lola ~ love that girl! She has spunk! I also want to welcome you to the Faucet Drinking Cat Club. Now that Ripley can't jump up to any bathroom or kitchen counters, she's exclusively a tub-faucet drinker ~ so cute to see them slurp from the drip and get their sweet little paws and head wet.

Enjoy your day ~ can't wait to hear about Nicholas's reaction to the salamanders... :-D :-D :-D

Good Morning Michelle, Once again, thanks for the beautiful pics :-D And we are too part of the "Faucet Drinking Cat Club".....Well we used to be before I got them off the dry food (now they don't drink any water) Hoots sister Sissy used to chase us into the bathroom when she saw us going in there and stare at us until we turned on the water in the sink :lol: I miss that ;-) Have a great walk today and I look forward to the pics!

I bet they look at each other and just :roll: I love hearing about what she's gotten into lately. She is such a little live wire. for your power button, you might try turning the whole thing on it's side and use some double sided tape to hold it in place?
Great pictures as always. Hey, i've been meaning to ask what is the big building on the pier?
I bet Nicholas will have GREAT fun with his salamanders. I'll be looking forward to those pictures.

Elsa, Lil Bit. You've made Monday a GOOOD DAY with Cheery Cherry! Whoooo Hoooo. lots and lots and lots and lot please today! Maybe even a 10 hr energy today if you please. .. We stayed up tooo late and got up tooo early. Those cheery cherry pies sound pretty good! I think we should order some of those and i'll just stay out of the kitchen and away from sharp things today :-D Oh cool, i see you coming! I'm gonna be good to go!! xoxoxo auntie mary

Hi Michelle, sounds like you had a nice time at Meadowdale, such a neat place. Oh my, I , too, am enjoying the adventures of Lola. She reminds me of my GA kitty getting into everything. How neat with DSIL finding the salamanders in the pond. I had to jog my memory to reemember what they are and resemble. :lol:
Elsa, I can't wait to taste some of those cherry pie pizzas. Thank you for the coffee to go today. It kept me awake.
I hope you had time with William and Nicholas and Erin today.
 
I know what you mean about Lola, Emma keeps us laughing all the time, when we aren't cleaning up a mess! I hope you got to get together w/ DD and William.
 
I bet Nicholas will love having the salamanders in the pond. Crazy Lola. It sounds like she can get in any little space. :lol:
 
Hi Michelle.....oh, I love Lola stories. She reminds me so much of baby Checkers. Nothing was not his, to climb on and into, and up on. He had no "off" button. :lol:
Those kitties must be a hoot to watch......and clean up after. :lol:
 
If Lola had her own treadmill you could power your whole house! Wow, what a kitty she is!!

HOpe you had some time to really relax today. It's so great that you have that beautiful walk so close by.

What was Nicholas's reaction to the salamanders?

Elsa, the espresso was much needed this morning. Tomorrow we NEED the 10-hour energy coffee for our big paddle with 2 long portages. Thanks in advance. Tell the pizza kids that the cherry pizzas were excellent.

Good afternoon/evening everyone! I finally made it home... Seems silly me got my days mixed up,and it's next Monday that is DD and William day, not today. so.... I went hiking instead! We are 83 at the moment, under clear skies. what a great day here. The morning was so nice too that I thought: out to the coast, to a cliff hike that I really like on Whidbey Island. OH sure.... LOL: I wish I could say the same about Oak Harbor. I get over there and the whole shoreline is fogged in. :shock: :roll: :roll: :roll: It cleared about the time I was headed out., figures huh. oh well,it's ok, no biggie, I had a good time despite the fog. I saw alot of hawks ad eagles, along with a few heron, a few trail bunnies and a family of raccoons. I went to Coupeville after Ebey, as it's only a mile away. I figured why not? See what is is like, as I have never been there. Tiny little place it was, with a very nice street that parallels the water. It looks like they have put some effort into fixing up Front Street. Not too bad, but so geared for the tourist. Nice day all around. Got maybe 9 miles in out of the whole thing. That'll do. :-D I will post the Picassa link in tomorrow's Loose Lips.

Hi Josie - Hey thx on Lola, I'm finding her to be such fun! never a dull moment, always an adventure. WOW - Ripley too? sure are slot of faucet drinkers in LL! LOVE IT! Lola was at it again tonight. Way too funny to watch her get wet and then shake teh water off. then came the slurp slurp slurp. :lol: :lol: I have to check on the salamanders - I forgot to ask! :o I swill pass on those scritches!

Hi Pam - THX on the photos! I'm glad you like them. You too on the faucet cats? We need a club: LL Faucet Club, or whatever. LOL on it all. Too fun with Sassy I can so see the action. :cool:

Hi Mary - i messed up the DD and DGS day.... next week! LOL, and I a sure on Bug and Elsa as they watch Lola. :roll: :lol: THX on the power button. That might work, and I will try it. The space is so confined, but ether would be room for that. Sunny how on never thinks of the simplest solutions - so thanks! ON the pier: That pier used to service, in its hey day alot of the fishing boats that fished the sound. The building was basically a tackle shop , but also a place to unload catch, fuel for the day etc. There were also small penny candy type shops there for the guys that came to the pier,and the kids that thought it was all great fun.it has fallen by the wayside over the years, as fishing sifted to Seattle and other ports. -- and I am so sure on Nicholasand those salamanders. Now I need to find out what he thought!

Hi Ann - THX - I did at meadowdale. I go there as often as I can since it is so close, and once it really is a nice area. Lots of variety. :cool: LOL on the salamanders and your memory. Hi Ann - I can so imagine with Emma - it is fun isn't it. Lola sure does keep me laughing. No, no get -together. Seems I had the wrong week, that is set fr next week, sheshh, silly me!

HI Carla - yes, she can fit onto anything, anywhere! It amazes me how she does it, but she does. Funny too to watch her try and get out. :lol: :lol: I think Nicholas will too!

Hi Ella - I LIKE THAT IDA! Lola powered house! I gotta work on that. :lol: :lol: THX on today - that is the plan once I post this. I did go hike, and could now use some down time. I still need to visit condos, so hopefully that after I "power down". :lol: :lol: Don't know on the salamanders. I forgot to ask when I talked to my DD, so will find out.
