Good morning World! Yesterday

pm+7 - 156 (Finally falling off those high 200's)
pm+10.25 - 114 (NIIIICE!)
AMPS 138
+2 - 199

KT finally decided to jump off those ugly 200's and 300's last night - at pm+2, he was still almost 300. Looks like the fall started sometime AFTER pm+2. We had VERY inconsiderate people invade our neighborhood with boxes of fireworks last night. They just parked in our road, set up and started shooting. They didn't know anyone here - WHY do they figure WE wanted to deal with their noise until after 2am AND clean up their damage as they just drove off leaving everything right there. Unfortunately there's absolutely NOTHING we can legally do to stop them.

All fuzzy feet are doing well - Scruffy (heart kitty) is staying steady as long as I don't miss a med dose altho' he can't seem to get rid of that last fluid. Lacey (heart drooler) is coughing more but I increased her Lasix to 3x a day yesterday and today - that should shuck some of HER fluid buildup. Chloe is still hunting Harley - she's now convinced if she runs around the corner fast enough, she'll find him. I don't know how long she'll keep this up...makes me sad. Other than those times, she's not depressed...just waiting....

HUGS to all that visit today! I've SO missed everyone while we've been 'gone'. All my boys are coming in next weekend to help my parents with anything that needs done....they're such wonderful caring adults.

Poor Chloe

Can't you call the police on those fireworks rabble rousers? Around here, it's illegal to shoot off fireworks. You could say you are afraid for your trees and rooftops, and sick of picking up after them.

Very Nice AMPS KT cat_pet_icon

Unfortunately it's not against the law here so they can't do anything....the joys of living in the sticks of Oklahoma! We did call...they couldn't do anything about it.

Lyresa -

SOOOO sorry about the fireworks! It seems odd to me that law enforcement can't do anything about it. The noise, the litter, something...but often (especially outside city limits) it's more a matter of they'd rather not have to deal with it. :YMSIGH:

Glad to hear all is well with your fur-kids and KT saw that beautiful blue!!

Hope y'all have a quiet night -

Libby (& Hershey, too!)

with the weather in the midwest and how dry everything's been, you'd think they'd be afraid of starting a fire. hopefully they are gone for this year!

poor Chloe - animals do bond with each other. i know punkin really missed felix when he passed away. i don't know how you can help them. it's so hard. you're so good with all of your needy little ones, lyresa. they are lucky to be in your family. and your sons sound wonderful!
