We reduced to 6.5units last evening, and we are paying for it today. I had hoped it wouldn't be this bad, especially since the Ziwi Peak was delivered and the new 'kibble' is 50% Dr. Elsey's Pure Protein chicken and 50% Ziwi Peak chicken. Jack didn't want to eat last night, despite cerenia, and he refused everything he normally does, as well as the prime filets. I convinced him to eat about 3/4 of a Meow Mix chicken and beef tenders in sauce cup, but that was about it. I was really thinking we would have a much lower number this morning. I'm going to blame the heat, as it was 85 in the house last night, but the AC was delivered early this afternoon, and after 'some assembly' being required, is finally up and running. Hopefully this helps Jack feel better, drop his numbers some, and get back to his 'normal' self. As much of a brute as he is about his diet, I worry when he doesn't want to eat anything.

Mikan can be super-finicky! She turns her nose up at all kinds of things I open, even with the ones she enjoyed on the previous day! It becomes a messy kitty buffet situation.
And you know what? After a while, she comes quietly back to the ones she turned her nose up at, and eats with gusto.
I have no idea what goes into her mind :rolleyes::rolleyes:
