What a crazy couple of days! I think I might have posted about one of our feral cats in the neighborhood that I got spayed a few weeks ago after my neighbors finally managed to catch her. At the time, she also had two young kittens that my neighbors found a home for. Or so they thought. On Wednesday night, they showed up at my door with said kittens, only hours before they were leaving for Mexico. The home fell through and they didn't know what to do with them. Not that I wanted any more cats (and I really don't), but I couldn't just tell them to put them back outside. So here we are. Meet Moon and Boots who are currently occupying my bathroom.
They are about 10 weeks old, really cute and playful, but a bit leery of people and hissy when you reach for them. Luckily, they tested negative for FIV and Leukemia and they just got their first round of vaccines, dewormer and flea treatment and will be up for adoption in a few weeks.
Meanwhile, Walter is continuing to do great. Today marks two weeks in normal numbers on just half a unit.Very, very proud of him!
Mandarin got another dosecrease this morning and will hopefully start following his brother's example at some point.
And here are the two babies!

. Walter's SS looks very nice
. Hopefully Mandarin will follow soon. Those kittens sure are little cuties and hit the jackpot being saved by you. Hope the find good furever homes soon.
