I fed him his normal lunch at +6 which was 3/4 can LC. I just tested him at +7 and he's 54 so I gave him 2 tsp MC just in case he wants to keep dropping.

I'm wondering if you need to feed a little in the early part of the cycle to prevent that drop around +5/+6? Maybe a little LC at +4?

I wish I could. He usually gets his shot at 6:30AM and I don't get home from work until 12:30/1:00. Depending on the day, I go back to work from 3:30 - 6:30 and get home 6:45ish (shot by 7:00pm latest).

I considered giving him a little MC at +6 when he was 68 because I figured he would keep dropping. Lesson learned.

Hahaha! That is actually from a few years ago. He's bigger now! I can't help but wonder if he wouldn't have ever gotten fat maybe he wouldn't have diabetes. ? Who knows.
