Yesterday, mostly green and VERY flat at night. :-D

7/6 Recap:

Flat surf was ruined by a pop to blue this morning (shot was 15 minutes late) but she's back in bizness. :mrgreen: Not sure what's changed in Neko lately, maybe it's the acupuncture, but I'm liking it. She also seems to be getting comfortable in greens too. Right now she's lying in the shade in the solarium, taking in the heat. Must feel good on her arthritis. I also spotted her doing the one paw per stairs thing when she greeted us after rowing. She's not as nimble as the civie who races up the stairs but better than she was.

Bean has been rushing around today so not sure exactly what Neko's been doing, but I suspect she hasn't moved much from where she is now. It'll be another late condo tomorrow. Bean is starting a fabric arts course and we have another acupuncture visit.

Healing vines to all in need, including Sasha and Sasha (civie), Lucy, Sabrina. Cheers for another successful OTJ trial completed. :-D

I'm glad the acupuncture seems to be helping Neko. So far, I've just had J.D. jumping up onto the couch again.

Green during the day! Nice! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: I am making a concerted effort to rest this week, and do a lot of stretching. I hope that means I'm ready for the race on Sat. Paws crossed. :-D

Whether the acupuncture or just mr. pancreas working it sure is nice to see all that green.

Neko is looking great. I like flat greens. Nice to see some improvement with her mobility.

Neko had a good tour outside after +1 dinner.

@Dyana - Neko hasn't done much chair jumping but is better at the shorter heights (stairs).

@Liz - A bean could get used to daytime green. Time for a change. :lol: Good luck on the race, we'll start tapering off next week for ours.

@Elise - Acrocats have a working pancreas, but the pituitary tumor sends out excess growth hormone which in turn means excess insulin growth factor that competes with her own insulin. So, it's a matter of enough insulin to balance that. The tumor can wax and wane, changing how much injected insulin is needed, as well as any additional factors that can change insulin needs.

@Carla - I like what I'm seeing so far.

@Mariko - I keep waiting for something to change, but hoping it won't.

@Ella - Neko is in the lagoon for now. Our local college is offering a summer fabric arts class that includes fabric dyeing, stamping, silk screening, painting - ways to create your own fabric patterns and colors.

@Catherine - Flat greens are great. I still want even more mobility, but I like what I'm seeing so far.
