Max started meowing at 5 and I caved and gave him some fd chicken at 5:20. He tried to get on the sofa with me last night but couldn't and it is quite low. He doesn't jump but usually pulls himself up. So I picked him up and he stayed with me for about 10 minutes before jumping off. He then stayed him the den with me rather than going back to my bedroom. Amazon tried to deliver the cosequin and auto feeder but I wasn't home. I had called back with the way to get in but they never made the second attempt so hopefully they got my message and will respond today. I liked it better when they sent things USPS as they know how to get into the building. They should warn you about this.

Fingers crossed that my mom's coumadin level is coming back up. Paws crossed Max stays back on track.

I feel bonded with you as well, Julie. I'm so happy for you and Peyton. Is the kitten back home and how is the liver kitty doing? You will have to supply updates at least weekly, okay?

My mom's finger is now swollen and she has a 2:15 with the ortho hand specialist. We don't yet know about the coumadin. I guess that will be checked at the cardiologist's office either before or after. If Max cooperates I will meet them there. I just gave him some mc food so hopefully he will surf nicely. Prayers again needed big time. She just can't catch a break. Hopefully this isn't something requiring surgery as her coumadin level will not be at therapeutic level (even if it is hopefully fingers and paws crossed) better than it was.

Thanks, Julie. Not the best time for Max to go active. If my mom is okay, I think I should do the under 50 three times before reducing. I did give him a drop or two more last night and today. It wasn't any more than that though. What do you think?

I fed mc + karo when Max hit 51 and he is surfing so at +6.5 I just gave him mc and will see what he does with that since he should be closer to Nadir. At least he is closer to what used to be nadir.

My DM's finger is okay so now they are going to get the blood drawn for the coumadin. Thankfully I wasn't needed there as I was needed here. Max is now surfing an hour without food. He likely will rise and bounce by PMPS or shortly after. I'll test an hour from last test and see if I can stop until tonight. Still thinking of going for 3 times under 50. What do you all think?

I hope Max is going to let you go see your mom today. Nice numbers, timing is a little off. Healing vines to your mother.

You wrote that you gave a drop or two more on the dose last night and today - could you modify the SS to reflect that? Max does seem to be sensitive to small changes. The 3 times under 50 seemed to work last time, so unless he gives you an under 40 or you have to work really hard to keep him up, I think it'd be good to try that again.

ETA: Nadirs can and do change for cats. Neko has never had a predicable nadir. :roll:

Wendy, the reason why I think he got a drop or 2 more is because the bubble was smaller. That doesn't mean the bubble won't be bigger tonight. I just can't get them off the sides of the syringe no matter what I do. Maybe my new batch will be better or it will be easier when I switch to the pens. So I wrote 2.5+drop. Thanks for looking.

Whoa there Max. Slow down Fella :) glad he's surfing nicely now.

Hip hip hooray!!! Mom's finger is ok! Now sending prayers for her blood work.

Poor little kitten is still at the vet without any movement. He had to be gasses this morning and she tried to manually extract some. The problem is he's so tiny she couldn't get in there and get it. He's now had another enema, lactulose, fluids and some medicine that is supposed to get him to push. I hope the little guy can get some out. I've never heard of a cat getting so constipated vet said she will call me first thing in the morning.

Peyton an I will be checking in quite often. We will miss you all too much if we didn't :)

i agree - it worked before and has made a significant difference in his cycles. i'd go with 3 times under 50 again, unless he gets to the 30's or under.

Max is looking really good today! Nice to see greens and a nice surf going on.

Glad to see that your mom is doing better. Hopefully her blood work will be good also.

Thanks for confirming what I thought would be the right thing to do, Julie and Wendy. I won't be surprised if he continues to go up from his PMPS tonight but it would be nice if we could have another run like in June.
