Good morning,

Yesterday's condo

Yesterday
AMPS=157 (0.5u); +4.25=133; +7.25=209; +10=205
PMPS=223 (0.5u); +2.25=194; +6=175; +8=157

Today
AMPS=167 (0.5u); +2=180; +3.5=211; +8.75=261
PMPS=223 (0.5u); +2.5=236

Last night, I tried Cerenia, Pepcid and Cypro at PMPS and Bupe at PM+2, but nothing seemed to be helping.
At PM+6, I gave her sub-q fluids and she finally seemed to be feeling better.
She ate a little bit at PM+8 finally. It was 2:30am, but I couldn't fall asleep, and I'm glad I was awake and didn't miss the small window of opportunity.

This morning, she ate the 1st breakfast OK (WellnessTurkey&Salmon), but I'm not sure if I can get her to eat anymore.
She doesn't seem to be feeling particularly good.

I don't know which are the meds she actually needs.
I don't think Cypro is doing much this time. I don't think Bupe made any difference last night.
Maybe she needs something completely different.
If she isn't better, I may make a vet appointment for a bloodwork sooner than July 20th, which is the next scheduled appointment.

Vines for Lucy to feel better. It's so hard when they feel to sick to eat. If the cypro isn't working it is likely nausea that is not being controlled. There aren't too many other appetite stimulants to try. Some use mirtazapine but that one didn't work more than a day for Tiffany even though it was supposed to work for three days and I've read about too many kitties that have gotten very sick from it and some didn't survive. Another option is valium, but some have a bad reaction where it is toxic to their liver. I was so excited when I tried it for Tiffany. It was the last time she ate on her own. Then I read up on it and wasn't willing to take the risk which is rare but does happen. There is no way to know if your cat will be one of them and it kills. I don't remember her creatinin level but if it isn't sky high and I don't think it is, that is not likely the cause. I hope her appetite returns today!! :YMHUG:

Lucy ate the 1st dinner not too badly, but doesn't want the rest.
I will keep trying.
