From what I've been told, Lantus is supposed to be better for bringing down higher numbers. Logic tells me he would just spike at +4 instead of +11, but I dunno. :? Plus, I still have no way to get Lev, if it does help, but I may have to use the Lev pens anyway, don't know how I'll get more Lantus yet.
He'll calm down from the screw up a couple days ago, it takes him time. He was doing much better until then.
What are the chances of me giving both R and Lantus fur shots? I need to buy a lottery ticket!
I have to take a bunch of cans of Petsmart food back, they won't eat them, even though they are the same flavors, they're not Friskees. I was hoping to save that .13 a can. No luck there. ohmygod_smile

I didn't change from Friskee's, I just bought some of the same flavors in the PM brand, to save some $$ . I bought the PM brand in their faves, figuring I had a better chance of them eating their favorite flavors in a different brand. Nope.
If they won't eat it the first time, they won't eat it at all. Usually, they'll eat anything NEW or that they haven't had in a while. They get burnt out on flavors if they have them very often, with the exception of Friskee's whitefish and tuna, which they will eat when they won't eat anything else and will eat that repeatedly. Sometimes I'll go through 3 flavors with no luck, and grab that one, at least I know Lucian will eat it.
Lucian is the biggest issue. Doesn't do me any good to have a bunch of food that only Shadow will eat, Lucian and Patches won't. So I buy to suit them, since Shadow doesn't really care and will eat pretty much anything. I can always make Patches happy with MC.
Our Walmart has like 1 flavor that is pate' and they don't like it. They don't care for chicken at all. They'll eat chicken and tuna or liver and chicken in Friskee's sometimes, but never just chicken, not even fresh cooked chicken.
As it is, I probably throw out the equivalent of a can a day, so I usually stick to what I know they'll eat, was just trying to save a little when I bought the PM brand. Not a good idea.

Tested before I left and immediately upon return, had hoped he'd surf yellow today and work down in a cycle or 2.
Hopefully he won't go any lower, that will help keep the bounces to a minimum.

Guess I should feel fortunate that my cats eat whatever I give them and are happy. Throwing out food is so heartbreaking. I have 2 'kitty garbage disposals' that will eat what Wink refuses to. There is not a crumb of food left in any dish here.

I try real hard to only give them as much as they'll eat, cause if there is any left over, it won't be touched, it gets flushed. They'll go without before they'll eat left overs. :roll:
