Gabby is keeping the cool blue vibes going in the heat wave!
Barb (Barb & Checkers) suggested we ask you about removing sticky stuff from cat fur, that you had experience doing that with Gabby. Zener got into a bunch of pine pitch on his back leg last night. We ended up having to trim much of it off after trying liquid soap and alcohol hand cleaner with no luck. We've gotten most of it off now, but he frequently gets bits of pine pitch on his paddy paws.
We heard from friends in IL that the temps should break tomorrow. Paws crossed that happens!

you'll be thrilled to know :roll: that i found a link on Tanya's CKD site to diabetic cats and then eventually to ::drumroll:: yes, the Somogyi Effect - and it sends one right back here to FDMB to become educated all about it! http://www.felinediabetes.com/concurrent-somogyi.htm :lol:
i tried to copy the columns on gabby's ss for the labs and reference numbers and it wouldn't copy. tried to copy Gracie's and it was the same thing. tried to do a "save as" to see if that would let me copy it, and it came up that it could only be saved as a web page. don't know why that would be, perhaps because another person can't edit your ss, but anyway, i appreciated your offer to copy the columns, even if it didn't work. i got the info entered by hand.
