Yesterday, at Tricia's House of Chaos...
Cinco is manning the barbeque on shore, listening to the kitties that are splashing in the lagoon, while China keeps a close eye on them from her vantage point in the water. What a team! Cinco, any time you want to switch with China, or maybe just join her, feel free. I think you've had enough time to get used to this dose, so show me what you can do with it!
Great appy, possible loose poo (in a different lb from his usual, but one he uses occasionally - could have been Minka), but no butt dragging (YAY!). It might be my imagination, but I think that his fur has felt softer since he's been on the fish oil. Gosh, I hate to cut it out. But those loose poos are gonna make me crazy(er).
Minka looked really uncomfortable late last night, so I gave her some Bupe. However, she was still interested in eating, so I was up until 4 am, spoon-feeding her baby food. She would only eat a baby spoonful at a time, with a minute or two between each spoonful. I think the final tally for the day was 3.5 jars of baby food, so it's worth it. This morning, she was on the loveseat where we do her fluids and where she's been spending a lot of her time, looking bright eyed and eager. I held the plate of cat food in front of her, and she started eating!!! I froze and held my breath, afraid to distract her, and she ate 3/4 of it!! Ten minutes later, she polished it off, and since then has had one more small helping!!
May seem a little silly to be so excited, but after two days of spoon feeding her baby food, this is HUGE!!! She did get the second half of that jar of baby food during fluids. She has also decided that she doesn't like turkey baby food. Of course, that's all Walmart had, and the grocery store down the street only had a few jars of chicken. She will eat the ham, though. So I'm off shortly on a quest for more chicken and ham. Don't know what the rest of the day holds, but I feel recharged after that lovely surprise. (ANTI-JINX!)
Summer appies must be in abeyance today, as Sasha ate all her breakfast with only a little garnish for the last few bites, and had a snack later. Harvey, too, has been through a couple of helpings. I needed this! I am fully aware it could all swing back the other way at any moment, so I'll just appreciate it while it lasts.
Cinco is hollering at me, and I have no idea what he wants. I've been over there twice and delivered back and neck rubs, chin scritches, etc. He's feeling feisty today. Has he been talking to Trixie?
I'm ashamed to admit I'm not dressed yet and haven't even scooped the boxes, so I'd better get moving. It's so easy to get caught here, reading condos! Have a great day, everyone!

I was wondering if that fish oil wasn't causing loose poop! I was experimenting with coconut oil for Tiger, and that's when she did have a bit of loose poop and she stepped in it and made an awful mess...
