I don't think Walter's numbers show he should be off insulin. I think the vets have different ranges they consider. Nice start today.

I agree— I don’t think he’s ready to go off insulin either. The vet just called and she didn’t mention it again so status quo for now. Apparently his labs are reasonably stable and she doesn’t wanna make any changes. I was really worried about having to be away for a week— I hadn’t done any traveling since March 2020 but I had a new work project and needed to go overseas—I was worried about somebody else handling the insulin injections but I guess it went ok Phew! I'm glad the vet didn't want to take him off insulin. Glad he was okay when you were gone.
