yesterday

had to go tbp today for 3.5 hours and she wasn't eating...
she didn't even eat her ff appetizer that she normally will eat most mornings before I get up. ( dh gets up at 5:30 am)

so I didn't shoot.....
I think she held out all day for some more friskies turkey shreds gravy with cheese..... 16%....
that was her all time favorite most of her life....
she just ate it at +9 and is happily dreaming away....
will start giving her meds bit by bit from here on out....

So sorry to hear that Shadow is not eating well for you today. That is so frustrating. Hopefully she is eating better tonight and from here on out.
 
Rhiannon, I wish I had more to offer than prayers and hugs. I'd feed her whatever she wants and adjust the insulin. Or are you afraid the old favorites won't agree with her?
 
(((((Rhiannon))))) Please little girl, eat your fuds! I was wondering the same as Elise, how is she feeling otherwise? I fed Tiger HC foods all day today, they gotta eat! But all the same, I am praying for you and her, and sending tons of vines and hugs.

guess the 16% didn't phase her..... i would have expected a small bump....of course, it's been a few hours....

it's hard to give her what seems to be aggravating her insides... but all i can do is watch and be with her one day at a time.....

Hmmm. Apparently she doesn't make the connection between eating that food and not feeling well. Either that, or she likes it so much she doesn't care!! I see your dilemma, and I guess I'd do what you are doing - give it to her when she won't eat anything else. The need to get food into her trumps everything - that's what Harvey's IM told me.
