PurrFace started his PM cycle last night with a blue number then surfed the yellow numbers right past the pink ones to a nasty red one. He's made two 100+ drops this morning to get to the blue zone so hopefully we'll see some green.

Once again I'm late starting. Thursday morning I noticed my phone was dead. The battery was dead, it was between 3 & 4 years old. I'm old school and have been embarrassing my DGC with my big old flip phone for years. Went to Verizon store and got sticker shock when told the cost of a battery. Ended up buying a smart phone for 99 cents. It's a Nokia Lumia 822. If it's a smart phone why can't it explain to me how to use it? DGD set it up with apps and a ring tone that is a rap song about "grandma calling to talk about her cat and grandpa is watching TV & getting fat". It drives me crazy but she thinks it's the funniest thing ever. If she doesn't come by today soon and change it I'm deep sixing it in the swimming pool the next time it rings sings.

I know EXACTLY how you feel about your phone!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: If you pitch it in the pool... DGD will probably know how to fix it. :roll: We changed about a year ago from our huge flips to smart phones.. Once you get on the learning elevator, they are way cool.

Hi John, LOL, don't throw it in the pool just yet. Love the ring tone. You are now really "with it" . Mine has the old fashion telephone ring tone on it. I wish I had a DGD to help me with all these gadgets. I bought one of those tablet things a couple of months ago and it works different than my other gadgets, so it sits on the shelf till I can figure out. As you know, I have enough trouble posting here everyday.
I hope Purrface comes down soon. My DH asks about Purrface everyday because he loves his name.

John :lol: :lol: I just updated my phone and am so confused. Maybe your DGD could teach me, too. No throwing it in the swimming pool either. :lol:
I think Purrface's next stop is the green Lagoon.

OK, PurrFace, I'm tired of seeing these bouncy numbers. It's time to get with the program and flatten out!

Don't deep six the phone yet. I'd suggest taking some time with the owner's manual and doing a bit of reading. The first thing may be to read about how to change the ring tone! Once you master the basics, FDMB will be with your 24/7. You can get your e-mail at any time and anywhere. That may or may not be a good thing!

I can't figure out what is going on with PurrFace this time around on this 2U dose. He did well on it before but this time i'm only seeing a green number every few cycles. Tonight is his 9th cycle since being increased. I sure hope he quits goofing around and settles down.

Haven't deep sixed the "smart" phone yet. Did get a normal ring for my ringtone though, thank you Sienne. There may be hope for me yet. I don't have a mobile data or Internet plan so I won't be getting any emails on it. When I retired from the Air Force DW & I travelled around the US for quite some time without a phone. It took a week or so to get over the withdrawal pains but was it ever nice when we did.
