yesterday all my troubles seemed so far away . . .

everytime i write yesterday i want to sing that song!

no troubles today - punkin's doing great. purred while he ate, of course maintaining him and anya in the Clean Plate Club. purrr purrr purrrr nom nom nom purrrr purrr purrrr nom nom nom.

ended up being gone from the computer all day yesterday but punkin got tested & had a good day. got down to 160 even after eating the dry food. i've got a lot to do to get ready to leave on friday and today is my eldest daughter's 25th birthday, so we're off to see her all afternoon.

i think punkin needs a little bit more insulin, but with me taking off i hesitate to increase it at this point. still might later, we'll see what checks i can get in today and how he does.

Hi guys .. sounds like you have a few busy day's ahead of you .. punkin, you hear that? Show your beanz what you can do on this dose so she doesn't have to worry about increasing you .. hope you have a great day!

Re: 7/6 punkin amps 233

Busy busy busy!!! Punkin has some good safe numbers today. That will make you feel better as you take the afternoon off. He will probably appreciate the pokey break as well! Happy birthday to your daughter! Have a wonderful day Julie!

Re: 7/6 punkin amps 233

Got just a little bit going on again I see! A pretty nice start to Punkin's day. I hope that you have a wonderful day with your daughter Julie ;-) ;-)

Re: 7/6 punkin amps 233

OHhh what nice numbers even with that nice tasty "treat"! :)

Will Punkin be traveling with you??? We always used to sing for Merlin ...."on the road again - just can't wait to get on the road again..."
and Boris is now a "traveling cat..oops mean a traveling man" - :)

Hope you have a wonderful visit with your daughter - and that all continues on such a great pace with your boy!

Good to hear Punkin had a good day yesterday...even with contraband.

Happy birthday to your daughter!!! I know you probably feel as I do every time my daughter's birthday rolls around....where have the years gone; she was a little girl just yesterday!!

Hope you have a really great family day!! :-D

Re: 7/6 punkin amps 233

Great to see Punkin do well even after the dry fud.

Hope you have a great time with your little girl!

Re: 7/6 punkin amps 233

I echo Patty's comments. I'll bet you can remember most everything that happened the day she was born. Those are moments that are engraved on our hearts. Have a great day with her. When do you leave for Guatemala? Give Punkin a hug for me.

i remember how horrible i felt 25 years ago right now. i hadn't been in labor that long, but she wouldn't descend. stubborn little girl - should've known that would not change! nah, she's a sweetie. we had a short but nice mid-afternoon lunch, chocolate cake at her place & then came home in time for punkin's shot.

no, patti, he doesn't get to go with me - i'm headed for guatemala to help construct classrooms in a new school. i don't think it would be "fun" for him at all. we leave at 7am friday morning. i'll have some internet and am taking my netbook, but not sure how much time i'll have to check in. probably none.

Hi guys - I hope your DD had a great birthday - lunch sounds nice. YAY! Wow - Guatemala! I had forgotten you were going. What a wonderful opportunity!

Good luck with the dosecrease should you decide to go ahead with it. Nice cycles today - not too high.... some blues! YAY!

I didn't know your DD and I had the same name! Lovely name, I must say! My mom didn't know any American names when she came to this country and had one of her friends pick it out for me.

I didn't watch Captain Kangaroo as a kid. Don't know why b/c I watch alot of TV as a kid. I remember watching Sesame Street, Electric Company and Zoom. I even remember watching Morgan Freeman on Electric Company! Uh, did I just date myself? Bahahaha!

Have a great night Julie! See you manana!

Julie, have a safe trip. I know it will be a very rewarding visit. My husband and I volunteered in Haiti for 5 years, prior to the earthquake. Priorities are put into perspective quickly in countries like Guatemala, etc. Looking forward to hearing from you after you get back. How long are you staying?
