This morning starts out sunny, and should be warm by days end. Hope! Mannie has started a little pink, almost yellow - a 302. And to repeat my daily mantra: patience, lets get the yellow back, and maybe find some blue somewhere along the way. You can do it Mannie! cat_pet_icon Go Kitty! :thumbup

WCR: It's been a good Morning for Mannie - he must be still all wound up from the party at Ducky's last night, and all that good cooking. He devoured breffis #1, and #2. Very affectionate this morning - lots of purrs and cuddles. Testing could not be done fast enough for him, now he patiently awaits being let out for his morning rounds and perimeter patrol. The stray continues to come visit, Mannie continues to defend the turf, and chase that kitty down the street, I continue to give the not outside your fence there buddy like normal - funny - it is the only time he ventures past "the line".

for now he is elated - the door is open, we are cool, so far, at 52 -- and off he goes to grass rolling and rubbing and chewing and sliding. what a life!

That is so funny! I can just picture Mannie defending his territory. I hope Mannie gives you a good numbers day. I wouldn't mind some cooler weather although it's not that bad here either!

Mannie is back in yellows, how about some nice blues to go with the cool weather? you can do it!

The marine layer is in again here today, quite cool. Yesterday we finally got a little sun around 4:00pm, then it went away by 6:00. We get visitors who want to come to "sunny" CA. Hah! :lol:

But I'm wondering who told the kidz it was ok to wear those flippin pink jammies :roll: Doodles win this morning...krikey ohmygod_smile

We have rain!!!! Can you believe it ohmygod_smile So, Doodles has invited everyone to a get out of the heat and come to the beach :-D
maybe we can get the kidz to hang on the yellow towel and then head in for some blue boogie boarding :-D

Hi Tray, and Iorwen - cool!! so far: 54 now. though we are supposed to be nice and toasty, for us, at 80 about 4 today. sure beats all the rains rains rains since April... and yay - Mannie did make blue - here's hoping he can surf it for a while.

Hi pat - yeah - big dropper :lol: :lol: :lol: he did make up for that at +4. Mannie says he had such a blast with Raja and Shadow at the party - Raja made all nice and neat on the grill, Shadow ate all she arranged. Tess had to referee.

Blackie - that is so cool! The same number - and the challenge is on! I'm at 181 - so meet me and let's go surfing with Stu and the gang... ~~ Mannie

Hi Ann - :lol: :lol: on the sunny LA - not today huh - almost sounds like Seattle weather. we may finally get some summer here - what a concept. it was 48 here the other morning - 48 in july!, and go figure...

Doodles! The beach!?!?!?! YES! - I love the beach! we could or or or I'll tell the guys, and the gals - FUN !!

52?!?!?!?! Your weather amazes me. I hope it doesn't get too hot there by the end of the week, though. 50s to 90s is an awfully big jump.

Hey, friend, whatcha doing today? Anything fun? I bet your bean is glad you're in blue, and maybe you should surf there to make her extra-happy. I think it's awesome that you chase away strays. All we can do is watch the squirrels from the window, but it's still fun. Doodles' is having a birthday party tomorrow; see you there!

Hi Sarah - yep it can do that here in the PNW - you start out in the 50's, can jump all the way up to 80 by late afternoon... weird - :shock: but it does help cool things down some at night. there's always the exceptions - whenever we do get hot, lows at night may hover in the high 60's... summer here, when we get it that is :? , and when it lasts longer than a few weeks :? , can be very nice... right now we are at 65, prediction for today: 81

Hey BUZZ!!! I am lounging today on my lawn. I LOVE it there - breeze comes through, ruffles my whiskers, cools down the fur, grass is green and I can roll on it everywhere (my bean curses alot cuz she says it's moss, not grass), sniffs are good and we have outdoor birdie tv. I have this spot where i can see everything - including that pesty stray. I am so STOKED about doodles birthday party tomorrow - I have texted Chef Stu - we love birthdays, and would love to help with the menu, and the cookin' and the grillin' YAY! pmps 192 YAY!! SURF continues - one great day for Mannie.

we hit 76 here today, so far... I spent the afternoon working the yard - such a mess. But I did get one section cleaned out, nice dirt again, bark etc.. You'll love this: all done, and admiring my handiwork when out comes Mannie, proceeds to the area, and digs three holes - one farther from the other :shock: and promptly pees in one, poos in another, and settles down for a short siesta in the farthest away hole. :o sheeeshhhh. i love cats. :roll: i cleaned that up just for him ya know....

have a great afternoon everyone. I am off for a walk to the shore, through the woods, to soak up a little water, sun, and the smell of the sea. YAY!

Looking good, Mannie! Since you are in the blue, how about staying there for awhile. You know it makes the beans happy. Now about that 52....you wouldn't mind a houseguest would ya? It's 101 degrees in the shade here! I've been chillin' in front of the a/c all day....well except for when it's food time. ;-)

Hi Tess! Hi Meadow! You both are on! We can surf all the way down the coast - WOOT! I am SO THERE! the beach is cool too! Hey Meadow - you can visit anytime! It is now 73 and there is a little breeze. Nice! I am sorry that you are so hot there - i don't even know what 101 feels like.... but I bet it is nasty!

Bounce! well, not exactly how I had hoped to finish out today, but it is what it is and tomorrow we start again. You had an awesome day today Mannie - a nice blue surf for most of the day. Good job!
