Morning ~O) ~O) a nice low blue for Maggie today. She may have surfed the Green Lagoon last night. Did any of the kitties see Mags in her green kini last night?
Mags could use some prezzie and feel better vines today, thanks guys. It's been a few days since she's had a decent poo. There have been just little nuggets or traces of her trying to go but not the real thing. This morning I noticed her in the LB trying to go, but nothing came out. She is eating some Wellness Turkey and also some Renal LP.
I hope I can do less pokes today, as I'm awaiting my ADW order of strips and syringes. With the holiday it's taking longer. I may need to do a Walmart run as tomorrow is Sunday. Looking forward to Elsa Lil Bit's coffee, sorely needed today, thanks Elsa.

I need to get to WalMart too, to pick up some baby food squash for J.D. as his have been a little on the hard side (I know because he's gone over the side of the box). Have you tried BF squash?

Thanks Dyana for the vines, very much. Yes, I've tried the BF Squash, and it really didn't help Mags. I know it has helped other kitties though. She later started being a little "meh" with the squash, so I went back to her Gerber bf chicken.
ETA I use the Gerber bf as a mixer for the Miralax.

I think Cleo saw Maggie in her tankini, cause when I woke up Cleo was looking through the Penneys circular, putting paw prints on new suits!

WOW on that amps! What a nice start for Maggie. I too would think she was surfin' in the lagoon last night. :-D She sure has been having great cycles! maybe working up for a reducie? Sure does look good.

Good luck with the pokies! I hope you can get through until ADW arrives. I like that sight - always fast deliveries, but I know that is true with the holiday: always slows things for them, for everyone. Perhaps it will make it there today. Paws crossed!!

It looks like Mags has decided to rest this morning. I'm not surprised by the rise. Mags has been eating some RC Renal LP, and although it's good for the phosphorus, it's high in carbs. She goes in phases with this food.

Thanks Michelle and Carla for the visits and poo and feel better vines. I checked, and my order has a delivery date of July 7 or arrival in SD, so that means Monday. I think I will buy one 50 strips box at Walmart today.
I did start out taking a short walk and ran into a neighbor with her dog who had finished their walk. I ended up talking and playing with the dog. I'll catch a walk later. It's already 70 degrees.

Tons of vines coming your way today. Did you ever have a chance to look further into adding psyllium husk into her diet? I wonder if a bit more fiber might help move things along, and from I've heard, psyllium is supposed to be a lot like the squash and other veggie forms of fiber - sort of the "fixer of all things poo". It's an apples and oranges comparison, but this morning I remembered that many years ago, a coworker's daughter also had megacolon. This coworker told me that if the daughter strayed from her diet and didn't get enough fiber, she would get backed up almost instantly. Maybe it would be easier to get the psyllium in, since it's a powder...you could mix it into her food. Just a thought for swee li'l Maggie Girl.

It looks like a safe surf for me to make that run to Walmart for some strips. I think I'll go shortly to avoid the later heat. It feels very humid. Mags is settled down for a long nap in her little bed on the sofa. She just got up and asked for some food.

Thanks Amy for all the vines. I did try a little of the psyllium in Mags's food yesterday morning, and so far I don't notice a difference, but I'm thinking it has to be an every day thing if it would help. That's interesting with your co-worker's daughter and the Megacolon.

Sending poo vines for Miss Maggie! For Emma the psyllium took about a day to show some effect, but that was diarrhea not constipation. I don't know if it would effect anything that is already in there.

Mags! Where'd you go, sorry I splashed so much on Lagoon entry! We needs to surf together, girlfriend! -- Tess

I'm so glad to hear Mags was asking for fuds :-D ! Maggie...we know you kitties read your condos while the beans are away. I bet MamaBean would LOVE th find the most aromatic prezzies every when she gets home. I trip to Walmart, on a Saturday no less, is not fun, so let's brighten up her day with a nice big deposit, OK? OK!!!

I bet you already answered that, and I can't remember for ten seconds, what I just read. :roll:

I think I'll get some bf squash for Tux. We've never tried it. Now I have to look up psyllium, as I thought that's what Miralax is.
Okay, Googled it.....so I will look for that too. I need to be more diligent about Tux.

Hope Miss Mags has a good BM soon.

Well, this is the biggest surprise ever to see this green at the end of her cycle. The only explanation I can think of is that she was eating Royal Canin Renal LP in the morning which did a spike. I ran out to Walmart and was only gone an hour for the strips. She ate some Wellness I left her and also a little Rebal LP. She's had two more mini meals of Wellness. I did fluids around noonish. :? I don't know how low she was in between.

Ann, you mentioned in one of my condos it might help her hard poo (the psyllium), so I gave it a try. :? I don't think I hurt her any more as it was just a little.

Amy, thanks for asking Mags to read her condo, still hoping. She must be trying, but there's not enought for her to poo. I tried the comb back there and got a good nip on the wrist, ouch.

Barb, I think the higher bg's were from the Royal Canin prescription that she sometimes will eat, as long as I have another entree, too.

John, a surprise dip at the end! :mrgreen: :shock:

Mary, thanks for the poo vines. She sure did have a big surprise splash.

C'mon, Mags...I don't care what those crazy college kids are up to, there is nothing like a good kitty poo on a Saturday night ;-) !

My civvie Frankie is having sympathy "issues"....her constipation flared up this evening, too :sad: . I think it started this morning, because I woke up to her spitting up a bit, which is not like her. She ate and was fine all day so I thought/hoped it was an anomoly, but after dinner, she full-on barfed, then had the LB issues. Big sigh...

Mags is so sensitive to carbs that I think the morning highs were from the Renal LP, and the afternoon she's eating Wellness. Still no poo though, just some small traces on one of her blankets but nothing substantial in the LB.

Amy, I guesss Mags wants to fool around tonight in the Green Lagoon, so maybe all the exercise will help. Aww....poor Frankie, hope she's feeling better after barfing and will have a good pm.
