Lucy is feeling fine and ate her breakfast well - first half Wellness Turkey and the other half Wellness Turkey&Salmon.
Today, I am going to see if she will be OK without additional meds.
If she eats dinner reasonably well, I'm going to add Rayne's diet back from tomorrow.

Her energy is still pretty low.
I have a feeling she's going to need a little more time to fully recover, but I think she's making baby steps.
It's been a whole week since she got sick from Leukeran.
I'm sure the drug is out of her system by now, but it's a chain reaction from being sick.

Feel better and keep eating, my poor little Lucy.
You can do it.
We will get over this together.

Sending vines to all in need.

Re: 7/6 Lucy AMPS=157; +4.25=133

I'm glad Lucy is feeling fine and eating for you this morning. I hope she continues to get better and eat better. It sounds like you needed the sleep.

Re: 7/6 Lucy AMPS=157; +4.25=133;+7.25=209

I am glad Lucy ate her breakfast. Sending prayers that she will continue to feel better and recover quickly from last week's setback. I am sure you needed some sleep.

Re: 7/6 Lucy AMPS=157; +4.25=133;+7.25=209

I've been following your saga with Lucy and her bad reaction to the meds, I am so sorry for the hard time she has had to recover. Sending tons of eating and healing vines, I hope she continues to be able to feel better. And as to going back to bed and oversleeping the alarm, I'd like to know of anyone who has a diabetic kitty that hasn't done that at least a few times. I bet you needed the sleep with the stress you've been under.

Re: 7/6 Lucy PMPS=223

Unfortunately, Lucy isn't feeling good anymore.

She seemed OK and purry about 2 hours before the PMPS , so I thought she might eat without extra meds.
Then I took a nap, and when I woke up for PMPS, she wasn't feeling so good and didn't want to eat her dinner.
I was going to give her a dosecrease tonight and even set my calipers to 0.75u, but since she didn't want to eat at all, I re-set it back to 0.5u.
Even though she hasn't eaten at all, I shot 0.5u since it's a small dose and she's high enough.

I also gave her a combo of Cerenia + Pepcid + Cypro, so hopefully she'll eat some in a couple of hours.
I know that these meds will make her feel better temporarily, but I am so worried what damage they might be doing to her organs.
She's been taking a lot of these the past week.

Re: 7/6 Lucy PMPS=223

She had a shaped but soft poo. It's the 3rd poo today....
She got her bum dirty, so I had to give her a bum bath.
She was upset and hissed and growled.
She screamed every time I shifted her position, which made me think she might be painful from pancreatitis.
So I gave her a dose of bupe.
I am upset that I am having to marinate her with all these drugs.
