Good morning LL!!
(Recovery fuel.... hurry Elsa!), and Happy Caturday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! Lola and Bug, founders of Paw Prints Pizza, are very grateful to Ollie who came and help them get the red white and blue splotches out of their furs. He used a hose! and lots of sponges!! Better than bath they said. They are backs to work today - pizzas for all of LL, cuz they say it is Caturday, and everyone should have pizza on Caturday. COOL! so. well. anyways.
Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Triple shot espressos, with beans from Ethiopia! AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a Venti quad almond roca infused mocha, with chocolate caramel whip, garnished with caramelized almond clusters, chocolate shavings, a dusting of crystallized caramel and dark chocolate drizzle. OH! No worries, a dollop of chocolate curls, and almond and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with caramel drizzle. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! SWEET! AND!!! It is a go! We will have, for sure, TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts! Lola and Bug are helping!
I hope everyone had a great day yesterday! We had sunny skies, after some morning clouds and a small rain threat, with temps up to 75. Our weather folks say we can expect more of the same for several more days. AWESOME! Anyways, Nicholas and I were glad to see the sun come out after we had been tp the pool. Berry hunting was waiting afterall. well.... truth be told he and I would have gone with or without the sun. It was a good day for him yesterday, we had fun, despite his being a little on the tired side. Here's what I wrote in lst night's post: "HI everyone! Happy Friday afternoon!!! Nicholas and I have just returned from the pool, and out inevitable berry hunting. He did really well today considering how really tired he was. He and mom and dad and William were up very late last night watching the fireworks. Nicholas told me they were HUGE and NOISY and lots of BOOMS and very pretty colors. Guess he was impressed! Apparently last night William had "one of those nights", was fussy fron 1-4AM (poor DD!). Nicholas told me at least 4 dozen times that "it was dark in my room and I wokes up and William was crying in the other room. He cries alot! I helped mommy! and thens I went back to sleep". awwwwww.... anywyas - it was a long night for him, so I was surprised when we put in 2 hours at the pool. He has resigned himself that the big pool is closed for now, and that soon he can go back there. We made good use of the water slides and the cannons today, and had a great time. Berry hunting was a big hit, lots still be be picked. Another surprise that he still wanted to go, but not too surprised when He told me halfway through that he was sleepy and wanted to go back. well duh, little guy. You should be! ;-) I hadn't buckled the seat buckles yet when I noticed he has crashed. Yes, one very tired little boy...." Although they spent most of yesterday sleeping.... Seems that all the festivities from the 4th of July, and a few BOOMS at 3AM just wore them out. It was so odd not the hear the roar of thunder feet running down the hall at all hours of the day. Nicholas and I did come home from the pool to find kitty toys scattered everywhere. His comment was: "Grammie!! LOOK! Lola and Big made a big mess! Mannie didn't make mess" Oh cute, and right he was. Mannie never did make a mess, he just arranged and rearranged and moved those nanners daily.
All those patterns he made, and the nanner mattresess. Ah... what a great memory. I can still see Nicholas bringing Mannie all his nanners, every morning. That was so cool, what good friends they were.
Have a great day everyone! I am off shortly to go on a very short hike up at Snoqualmie Pass with my DD, Nicholas and William. DSIL has to work, so Erin (DD) and I thought we'd do up to a place that Nicholas really likes: gold Creek pond, ans spend some time this morning. It will be good for her to get out, and YAY! Big Bro can show little Bro all the ins and outs of hiking. No doubt he will.
KITTIES!: Think BLUE!!, Think GREEN!!
