7/6 Harley PMPS 304

[Harley and Pattie]

What a night with Harley. Auto feeder did not work well and he was constantly pawing at me for food and crying. I was up 3 times with him. Finally at 3 am, I put him in the bedroom and fed him 1/2 can FF, feeling that I would deal with higher bg in the morning. This AM he is 349. Not bad, but not good.

Hi guys .. sorry to hear the auto feeder didn't work out well for you .. it's hard having a hungry persistent kitty! At least this morning's number isn't to high .. have a great day guys!

Dang that automatic feeder - Poor Harley and POOR YOU!!! I would definitely need a nap! :YMSIGH: :dizcat

Hoping after the feeder had a long sleep last nite it works better today for both of you!

Harley did not change much today – stayed in the 300’s. Hopefully he will come down lower. I don’t want him to stay this long in the 300’s but he goes on Friday to the U. I do worry about kidney problem's and high bg.

Speaking of that, here is a quote from Harley’s University vet (I had told her that he was down to 4.5u): “That's awesome that Harley's down to 4.5 units!!! Who would have guessed that he'd ever get that low again! I will cuddle him while he's here and make sure he eats.” She is such a wonderful person.

Tonight he is 304 and hungry. Unable to get more batteries for the feeder...might just weather through this. He is only here 2 more nights.
