Good Morning LL. DH here. I took Marje to the car dealer to pick up her truck this morning. New fuel pump, 700 bucks, just out of warranty, of course. Anyway, it was busy around here this morning so we are posting late as usual.

Miss Thang is continuing to do well. I got home about 1 this morning. She was zonked out, mid-blue and rising so I left her alone. She woke Marje up early this morning with head butts and flops so we thought she might be dropping again. But, she was 180 at +11 and has been surfing mid blue so far today. After her low numbers yesterday we were expecting a bounce, so we are very happy with her numbers so far. Just hoping she can hold this reduction.

She and her brother are busy keeping an eye on the critters this morning, Teddi and Gus are sleeping, so all is quiet and peaceful for the time being. Hope you are all doing well.

Patty - Its good to be home. Marje is glad to because she could go to work and get a little break (never thought I'd think going to work was a little break :lol: ) Don't know if she is going to go green but I'll take what shes doing anyday. I know you were trying to avoid a dose reduction for Champ like we do with Gracie, but it seems they let us know what they need. We just need to be smart enough to figure it out. :lol:

Once the wings go on, they never come off, whether they can be seen, or not. It fuses to the soul through adversity, fear and adrenaline and no one who has ever worn them with pride, integrity and guts, can ever sleep through the ‘ call of the wild ‘ that wafts through bedroom windows in the deep of the night.

When a good pilot leaves the ‘job’ and retires, many are jealous, some are pleased and yet others, who may have already retired, wonder. We wonder if he knows what he is leaving behind, because we already know. We know, for example, that after a lifetime of camaraderie that few experience, it will remain as a longing for those past times. We know in the world of flying, there is a fellowship which last long after the flight suits are hung up in the back of the closet. We know even if he throws them away, they will be on him with every step and breath that remains in his life. We also know how the very bearing of the man speaks of what he was and in his heart still is.

Hi Ya'll!!! Just a quick hello before dinner with my sweetie!! Thanks for dropping by today....it was a nice blue surf day for Gracie and we'll hope she comes back down just in time for Curry's big party!!! Gracie was up late last night mixing up all kinds of tequilas and other stuff for the drinks for the party. I couldn't believe she woke me up so early!!!

What a run yesterday - very impressive miss Gracie. It is good to see mid level blues today after all those lows yesterday. A good sign I think. Patty - Thanks for the post you shared with me. Its funny, people write all these neat things about pilots, and I've always thought we were just as full of crap as anybody else :lol:

hahaha mike, too funny! grace was having such a great run yesterday and then wahooy, soared up tonight. she's got some style.

we saw the dust storm in arizona that hit today on tonight's news, but it didn't say the cities. hope you all weren't affected.
 
DH here - The girl is still coming down, into blue at +4 :-D I'm wondering if its going to be one of those sliding nights. Sleep is overrated.

Julie - the dust storm was in Phoenix. We don't get them in Tucson, at least not like those wall of dirt storms like they got last night in Phx. They look really cool, but not much fun to try to land an airplane in. we have had a lot of rain the last couple of days though. We sure do need it.
