Another great day for Billie!! :mrgreen: Did you have to feed the curve to prevent her from dropping, or did she just surf on her own? It might be another exciting night at PMPS for you? ;-)

Thank you all!! She is a bit high tonight, but hey, at least it's a blue number.

Ruth, for the past week or two, I've been feeding her about 1 oz of 5% food at preshot, +1, +2, +3 and/or +4 rather than one big meal at preshot. She always eats her preshot meal, usually eats at both +1 and +2, and grazes through +3 and +4. If I want her to do more than graze (like if she's getting close to 50), I'll add some parmesan cheese to her food to encourage her. Today, I gave her some 2% at +5.5 when I saw the 60, because I had to go out and didn't want her to be without food in case she was still dropping. If I had been home, I might have just waited a bit and tested again to see how her surf was going. It does look like she started heading up shortly after that snack...although it also could have been a bounce from the 100+ point drop between preshot and +2.5. Who knows!!

Thanks for the info Deanna, I will look at Petco for some of that Merrick line of food for Tiger. I have LC and HC, but nothing imbetween. And also, thanks for the tip about parmesan cheese, is it the grated Kraft kind of can it be the Parmesiano-Reggiano if I grated it? And regarding how and why their numbers go up and down when we least expect it, who knows indeed! :roll:

Petco should carry it! PetSmart does not, but Petco, Pet Supplies Plus and some smaller chains do. I shop at an awesome store called Benson's but I think it's a local chain. I have given Billie both the Kraft kind of parmesan and the nicer kind that I've grated myself when I have that. She does seem to like the freshly grated option better! :lol:

+2 176...I wonder if this is the start of a "normal" Lantus cycle, or a flat Billie cycle. Her +2 is rarely so close to her preshot number unless she's staying flat. We'll see!
