





Good to hear the report wasn’t too bad. You might want to think about getting a second blood pressure to verify. High blood pressure is common with acros. Neko’s first BP attempt (Vet late due to emergency, barky dogs in waiting room, novice tech) was 220 +, second attempt 180+ (puppy jumped carrier), third attempt in a room with Feliway, 142. After that I always sprayed her carrier with Feliway and gave Rescue Remedy if we were going for a BP check and it was mostly in the 140’s.






They usually do multiple tests each time, and do an average. If it was a quiet appointment, you could be OK. Neko never increased her BG during vet visits, but did her BP. You could just call and ask if things were quiet leading up to the test. Over 200 is above "white coat syndrome" levels, I just have a cat who proved contrary.On different days?
