Well, she's still in the mid to high blues, but I hope she's finally recovering. I knew at once that I'd goofed, because the smell of lantus was strong.. I don't think any lantus went into her on 7/10.

Yet, her peeing remained normal, so I don't guess I did any further damage to her kidneys. Today, however, she's gone 36 hours without pooping, so I'm increasing the Miralax. If nothing emerges before PMPS, she's getting some lactulose.

I usually give her the shot right after the ear prick. But this time I tried to give it while she was eating. Cats have strict routines, and she was not pleased.

I never had good luck shooting while feeding. Neko took about 20'seconds or less to eat her raw. It was better for me to wait until she was finished.

What are you using for a reduction point? With that 42 on the 9th, I would have thought about reducing. She might have gone lower before hand or that night and also be bouncing.

I was being cautious, because she's gone down so quickly, and I had accidentally fattened that dose before the 42. I thought that since she wasn't under 40, I should wait and see if she hit it again. Now I'm coming out of the fur shot, and I see her swinging low - 116 at PMPS. So maybe she is asking for a .5 reduction. I do find these swings in her BG confusing.
